@tj_cool

Honestly, I never even knew that menu was there. I've always just let the HomeBrew Channel auto-detect the device. I can hear my HDD spin up when I load the HomeBrew Channel, but nothing shows up (when running under SNEEK).

Too bad all of the Device options are unclickable (disabled, grayed, etc). :-\

Also, if I hit Home, while in the HBC, it seems to lock up the Wii.

So, I'm not sure how to proceed. Everything works fine without SNEEK. Maybe I'll try cleaning my NAND dump or something... Any suggestions welcome.

EDIT: Looks like it was a HDD Sleep issue. Normally, my HDD wakes up automatically when I load HBC. I tried cycling the power while HBC was loading, and it's all good. Still strange that I think I only need to do this when running under SNEEK.

Does anybody know, how I can install a custom system menu on sneek? Because there have to be a .csm file on the not available sd card. Soft Tweak doesn't accept USB

What is the smallest NAND possible with this? I deleted a ton of files from a dump of mine, but it failed to load correctly. I'm gonna try further I'll post my results. Let me know what sizes your dumps can be scrubbed down to.

Thank you to who ever will answer me.

1) If I understand right, I can use FS Dumper to dump my nand, have bootmii as boot2, replace the armboot.bin from sd:/bootmii/ with the one from SNEEK's googlecode and set bootmii to autoboot HBC ??

2) Either it's FS Dumper or SNEEK "bug", cIOS such as 249, 223 and the likes will not be useable, therefore no usb loader will work ?? OR, can I still boot SNEEK and install any cIOS from the emulated nand (SNEEK) ??

3) Hotswapping the sd card while using SNEEK is not possible ??

Anyone ??

SNEEK v2 Auto-Installer rev4 (by X-Flak)

The easiest LEGAL way to get all the files you need for SNEEK to work!

this is the last update for it, i promise (I know I said the same thing for v3, and v3 still works fine, i just made v4 even more user-friendly).

Usage/Instructions (now on the Complete Softmod Guide)

Mediafire is down for some reason. Can you upload to megaupload or anything other than rapidsh(it)are?

See the bottom of this post, here under "how do I install custom systemmenus (themes) onto the SD-FS"

QUOTE(Pippin666 @ Jan 30 2010, 09:38 PM) Thank you to who ever will answer me.

2) Either it's FS Dumper or SNEEK "bug", cIOS such as 249, 223 and the likes will not be useable, therefore no usb loader will work ?? OR, can I still boot SNEEK and install any cIOS from the emulated nand (SNEEK) ?? It's most likely a bug with cIOS since all official IOS work. USB loaders seem not to work, but some people have reported success, we'll have to wait until someone figures out exactly what's going on. You can install cIOS to the nand, but they may not be useable.

3) Hotswapping the sd card while using SNEEK is not possible ?? Correct

Pip'
However, the best way to get an answer to these questions is to try it out yourself.

many people seems to try cIOS again and again and those should read this:
Code:
cIOS doesn't work
The reason why most cIOS do not work is currently unknown. When SNEEK tries to load a cIOS one module does not return when loaded by the kernel and just freezes. Which means that the issue doesn't seem to be solveable via SNEEK, the cIOS authors must either fix their cIOS or if SNEEK is at fault supply a fix or at least the exact issue. SNEEK has no code in place which would prevent cIOS from working!

that is from the official FAQ which you can find there -> http://code.google.com/p/sneek/wiki/FAQ

we can now all stop trying and have to wait for the cIOS authors to act!

From what i've read it's cause of the dip module or mload or something if you read the bottom comments

what I don't understand is that all the cios installers work on sneek (well all the ones I've tried network install)
