Yes last Dop-IOS and i used to start it from Hombrew Channel.
But i already used DOP-IOS with ios36 and what ios53 is used for...
Do you think i'll be able to install ios70 via bannebomb?

Use Dop-IOS (via bannerbomb) and start it with ios36 (not use it on) use it on IOS53 as thats the IOS NSMBW uses to run the game, i thought IOS70 would already be installed as your on 4.2 ? if it is start Dop-IOS with ios36 then use it on IOS70 (You need both IOS53 & IOS70 Dopped)

Sorry thats about the best i can explain.

So... if I understood...

I put on SD bannerbomb and the .dol of DOP-IOS.
I run Dop-IOS and i start it with IOS36.
I patch then IOS53 and IOS70 (both with trucha patch? and old or new versions?).

Sounds right.. New versions i would think, the .dol has to be named boot.dol

Hi guys, I have a UK Wii System Menu 4.1.

My Wii is softmodded (no hardware mods). I got HBC, cIOS38 r14, IOS35 downgraded and I use NeoGamma R8 B7 to play my backup DVD's.

They work fine, but I've read through this topic and realized that NSMBW can only be ran from hardware mods or SD/HDD.

So I've used WBFS Manager 3.0 to format a 4GB SD card and then used it to transfer NSMBW (boot.dol patched version). When I open up NeoGamma R8 B7 and mount my SD/SDHC as WBFS. It doesn't mount up, and says 30 retries left or something along the lines.

What could be wrong? I've also tried USB Loader GX and it doesn't mount the SD card either. I remember running into a similar problem when I was trying to play Zelda Crossbow Training off a SD card. The card wouldn't get mounted, but DVD-R worked great.

I am suspecting that I'm missing something (perhaps a IOS downgrade or something?) that will allow me to mount my SD card.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

HELP. I had everything working from Wiiflow perfectly for a couple days. Made it to the 4th world. Then when I started the game up it said the save file couldn't be read because the data was corrupted! Anyone else having save file issues???

Cant get it to work! I took the iso and did the patch just in case it wasnt the patched version.

System 4.0 NTSC
D2Pro 9 chip
wad manager 1.4 or 1.5 I dont remember
cIOS38 r 14
Trucha Bug patched IOS36
IOS38-64-v3610
IOS50-64-v4889
IOS53-64-v5149
IOS55-64-v5149

I even added IOS53-64-v5406

NeoGamma R8Beta7
2GB Sandisk usb (formatted through WBSF manager)
and added game to usb through WBSF

I go into neogamma and tell it to load game. It sits for a minute saying loading game, then a couple of the words get to where it looks like there is print on top of print and it just goes back a screen to beginning of neogamma. I even changed it to force NTSC, force PAL, no go!

I also tried it with USB Loader GX and just got black screen if I remember right. I tried the 002 fix thing and it didnt work either.

What am I missing unless it is a bad ISO I have. Can someone pm me a link to where everyone here is getting there iso please?

Since you have a chipped Wii, what I would do in your place is just burn the UNPATCHED .iso to a DVD and run it in NeoGamma.

That's normal.

I am playing it successfully with a wiikey 1.19s from the disc channel on 4.1U. I did the following:

- patched main.dol, burned resulting image to medium
- Completed installation of IOS53 and IOS60 with Trucha bug via DopIOS as stated on page 1 (I used IOS249 from the first selection screen which is CIOS9 in my case). Note that it was necessary to use a slightly different command to "install old version" or something like that for IOS60 since it was already the latest version. I think I pressed - to reinstall after selecting IOS60. Both IOS53 and IOS60 were trucha patched during installation by selecting the appropriate option when prompted.

After completing these steps the game works flawlessly from the disc channel. It still doesn't work with Flatmii, but I guess you can't have everything.

For it to work on disc with mod-chip you need to replace the main.dol with the patched one in the iso before burning, and because you have now modified the iso you need to Dop-IOS IOS53 & your system menu IOS (IOS70 for 4.2) so to restore Trucha Bug in them IOS's that allows running modified iso's.

Then it should run from disc channel without any loader etc..

And what's the difference between pached main.dol and normal one?

The game update contains sysmenu 4.1 and mysterious boot2v4.... maybe that's the reason.

and if you have never softmodded the wii and have newer firmware (I think 4.0 and newer) you first need to install (IOS249 aka. cIOS38 rev14.) using the Trucha Bug Restorer method

You need the patched main.dol because the original one has a copy protection that makes the game stop working after a while.
As for the updates included, just have everything updated by DOP-Ios Mod and it won't bother you.

I tried. The strange thing is that i used it when it was at the first version to install bootmii and HombreChannel. And it worked!
bffff... i don't know what to do now.

Someone said to me to format my wii, use the the cIOS rev14 or pimp my wii 1.3.
But really i'm a noob with all these IOS.
