Hello everyone! Yesterday, I bought a second-hand Nintendo 2DS at a thrift store for 11 euros, and it works lol. I already have an original hacked 3DS, but at this price, I couldn’t resist and bought it. It’s running an old 7.1.0-16E firmware. Which tutorial should I follow to do homebrew? I want to use it as a retro gaming console.

Sorry for my bad English btw

What? With the prices good 2|3DS consoles regularly go for you could make quite some money if this shop has a few more of them.

Go ahead and install B9S with the guide. Please don't skip the backup step (and store the NAND image on your computer as well).

Good luck and have fun!

You should use

In this case, with this old firmware, you should be able to use Soundhax which is one of the simplest methods. It's what I used with my 3DS in the past as well.
Thanks, I'm going to try this tutorial as soon as I have free time. I will report back how it did:D

Yes, there was only one and I couldn't believe when I saw the price lol. As I said before, I already have a 3ds which I don't use much anymore because I prefer to play 3ds games on the citra emulator, but for that price I couldn't resist. I will use it as a retrogaming machine (gbc, gba, nds etc..) and homebrew for fun lol
