No surprise there, these games are designed with all sorts of incentives for dedicated players. Lot of people who play both Genshin and Honkai would want to get in on the ground floor.
I feel like 'horny' should be its own industry at this point. My expert analysis would place its value at something in the region of $40tn.

It's the same reason people fall for loot boxes in other games. Gotta get that dopamine shot off unlooting the rare shiny item
I would die, I play Marvel SNAP every day and don’t spend anything, but if my account up and vanished I’d lose it (and get a half hour of my life back every day, lol).
Yeah... It put me off from all gotcha games completely. I spent 3 years of my life playing that game as a substitute to replace a bad addiction that I had to get rid of. But God bless! I was able to replace my gotcha addiction to learning iT.
