Zenless Zone Zero, the latest game from Genshin Impact creator Hoyoverse, has launched globally today. This sci-fi, anime-inspired game is, like other games from the developer, a free-to-play gatcha game. To accompany the launch, a new trailer was aired:

Zenless Zone Zero is available on Android, iOS, PS5 and PC via the HoYoPlay launcher and Epic Games Store. You can find download links via the source link below.

It seems fun to play! I wish I could try it, but I had a bad experience of falling into gatcha and spent About 200$ in honoki impact 3rd, just to have my account hacked and lose all my progress and not receive any help from hoyoverse developers to recover my account. But it definitely was the best way to no longer have an addiction to gotcha games.

I saw this game randomly on my phone on release and I'm extremely concerned that the server for it already has over 500K members inside of the server. Jeesus!!!
No surprise there, these games are designed with all sorts of incentives for dedicated players. Lot of people who play both Genshin and Honkai would want to get in on the ground floor.

Admittedly the trailer was pretty cool in an over-the-top anime sort of way, but tells me absolutely nothing about what kind of gameplay is on offer. Just as clueless after visiting the website, too.

I keep seeing people shitting on this game's gameplay everywhere apparently it's just a simple high paced gacha game and it looks kinda boring. I YT-d the gameplay and i was like yeah i can see why this isn't good

I installed it yesterday and it's a fun action game, kinda like a devil may cry-esque combat (but without jumping) and fast character switching. The menus however are, imo, a mess. Yes, you can navigate them well when you start to understand them but at first it's a little confusing. If you played genshin you'll see a lot of similarities. However they don't give you 100 pulls, you have to earn them ingame. Apart from having different elements, each character feels a little bit the same.

I would die, I play Marvel SNAP every day and don’t spend anything, but if my account up and vanished I’d lose it (and get a half hour of my life back every day, lol).

Yeah... It put me off from all gotcha games completely. I spent 3 years of my life playing that game as a substitute to replace a bad addiction that I had to get rid of. But God bless! I was able to replace my gotcha addiction to learning iT.
