how do you connect remotely through the internet with dns, what parameters do I have to add in the chiaki.conf file?
The easiest way to do this is to register your PS5 in LAN. Then duplicate the corresponding part in the config file and change the host_addr from IPv4 address to the DDNS address. Last open the ports as described before on your router.
That's all!
https://gist.github.com/vinnymac/e94d89e2881ef76167440a60b0a067d6Hello I'm new to this but I'm having a bit problem when I'm getting my account id. It says
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/tmp/sessions/4cf4a3f987c9b09c/main.py", line 79, in <module> api_auth = requests.auth.htpBasicAuth(CLIENT_ID, CLIENT_SECRET) Attribute Error: module 'requests' has no attribute 'auth'
Any Suggestions on how to fix this.
I just went through this, I think it started after a recent PS5 update. I did find a fix though.I have entered all the data, creating my ddns address to enter as a host and I get the RP-version mismatch error message when I connect online, locally it continues to work correctly. do you have any idea what could happen?
Thank you so much man it worksI just went through this, I think it started after a recent PS5 update. I did find a fix though.
Add your PlayStation through add host but make sure to make the display name different from the name that shows up when searching for available PlayStations.
For example, my PS5 is named "PSPali" and showed as such automatically in chiaki. I added it instead through add host and just gave it the name "PS5" and registered it. I see my added "PS5" and "PSPali" below it as unregistered. The registered "PS5" works.
Add host and using your consoles name does not work either, you have to make the display name different
If you don't use a forwarder, and instead run it through the homebrew menu the same as your other homebrew, your options are to set the OC on and off each time, or have the OC always set on for all homebrew (plus the game you use for title takeover). Is there a way to use sys-clk with this without a forwarder? I mean is there any way to change it specifically for an nro or would I have to adjust OC before and after using chiaki if I don't use a forwarder?
Had to register to comment on this. I was scouring the web for a solution to this issue and came across this post. This worked beautifully. Thank you!The latest PS5 update made Chiaki incorrectly interprets console version resulting in selecting wrong RP protocol for PS5.
While waiting for the official patch, I did some change to the code to temporarily fix this and also made it possible to connect remotely by using DDNS address instead of public IP.
Here you go!
could you please share the code snippet of how you do that please? Probably is something to use a hostbyname I guess, but I don't really was able to reach that part of the code that do that. If you could...The latest PS5 update made Chiaki incorrectly interprets console version resulting in selecting wrong RP protocol for PS5.
