If hen grab newest if cfw grab newest. I would grab newest Webman as well. Setup reboot test.

I already have CFW installed and I don't want webMAN MOD.

The only instance to need activating a PSN account would be to have the content playable/readable or re-downloaded. That's about it, I reckon.

I thought what needed to be activated was the PS3 user, not the PSN account. And when does that have to be done, after swapping the PS3's HDD/eMMC/SSD/SSHD or the PS3 itself, after formatting the latter or after changing the PSN account?

On PS4 I backed up and moved to another PS4, it didn't work immediately, I had to log in so it'd recognize my license.

I honestly dislike PS4 with OFW because media apps are hidden away than on the dashboard.

Also, there were times one had to update the PS Store app to be able to sign into PSN. Was it the PS Store app or PSN?
Cool go grab newest all and come back and let us know. YW.

You mean, you had to register the PSN account again? I wanted the PS5 to have a setting to hide games from the UI. The only solution is to delete them but I don't want to reinstall them every time I delete them and I want to play them.

I already have the latest CFW. I had this issue in the previous PS3 on both OFW and CFW and in this PS3 on both OFW and CFW.

Like I said, the PS3 also beeps thrice and restarts when exiting IRISMAN using the PS button after uploading files from the PC to the PS3 with FileZilla Client and with an USB device connected to my PS3 and the PS3 also often freezes when returning to XMB from IRISMAN using the Circle button after uploading files from the PC to the PS3 with FileZilla Client and with an USB device connected to my PS3 and when clicking the PS3's power button, the PS3 beeps thrice and turns off.

Weird, lately, when exiting IRISMAN, the PS3 often freezes so I have to manually turn it off. I don't know if this happens because before exiting it I transferred some files from the PC to the PS3 via FTP.
the only thing I can think of is that it's the hdd. you could try to rebuild the file system in the recovery menu or try reinstalling the firmware. if their works, it's probably the hdd.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
