My mom had a commodore64 as a kid and she really wanted to play the Oregon trail and other 8 bit old games so I want to add some commode64 games to my retroarch setup as I said I'm using crazymac and want it added as if it was in crazy Mac all along with playlist box art etc can anybody help explain how to do this for me?

I suggest using the "Commodore C64 (Frodo) core".

Go to Import Content - Manual Scan , in there fill out "Content Directory", "System Name", and "Default Core". all other options are optional.
After that, If you want boxart, go to Main Menu - Online Updater - Playlist Thumbnail Updater, and scroll down until you see commodore 64 and select it. It will download all boxarts for the system, then match them to the your imported Commodore 64 games.

calm down man! Maybe send me a picture of your main menu, so I will know what you are working with.
Sry if I came out as rude it's the crazy Mac build it's relatively well known but if you haven't seen it I'll send pictures ASAP

the main menu is farthest to the left of Retroarch, (Where you see the retroarch symbol). when on the far left are you sure there isn't an "Online Updater" option?
Yes I'm 100% positive I went through all the options it's not there
