It'd be awesome to control the PS4 with the gamepad and pretty much have portable PS4. Is this possible or can the Wii U not handle that?
That is more of a PS4 related question. You'll be better off asking this on the PS4 forums. But since the Wii U GamePad has a resolution of 480p, I'm not sure that the image would look that good. But then again I don't have a PS4, so I'm not sure if its possible. It'd be awesome to control the PS4 with the gamepad and pretty much have portable PS4. Is this possible or can the Wii U not handle that?
Well, I'll be damned. Guess that just shows how little I know about the PS4 scene.@GABO1423 No, this question belongs in here. The PS4 parts have already been resolved in the past: Open source Windows/Linux/Android/... Clients are available*, one would just need to port one of them to the Wii U.

Instead of just discouraging this to happen, why not just talk about how this may be possible or not?You can view PS4 from your Switch already.

Its not helpful to just say: "Do it in the Switch" Just because you can do it in the Switch, does not mean that there is no reason to do this with the Wii U.
Ok, if that was your intention then it certainly did not come off the way you meant it for. Is it useful to know that you can do that in the Switch? Yes, since it shows that the possibility is there. The way you said it just gives the impression of saying that: "Why bother when you can do it in the Switch?" And if the Wii U scene was completely dead, then why are we still having this conversation right now? New projects have been made recently, and while the Switch scene is the most active, that still does not make the Wii U scene automatically dead. If you really wanted to give useful information, it would have been better to say something among the lines of: "Its not possible to do so yet, but seeing as you can do this with the Switch then there's still a possibility it may work with the Wii U"You sure are putting a lot of words in my mouth that I didn't say. I didn't say there's no reason to do it on Wii U, I didn't say "do it on the switch" I said you can do it on the switch" I was just giving information that maybe useful to someone who has a switch or may not to someone that don't unlike your post that was useful to no one.
I'm not telling you what to say, I'm just telling you that you were not exactly useful here. And I don't hate the Switch, its just that this is a Wii U forum that poses an interesting question. So I would rather talk about the question rather than the Switch.Whatever we're all gamers here there was no harm in my post saying you can do it on switch maybe you hate the console or whatever I don't really care but you're not going to dictate my posts and tell me what I can and can't say. I don't see mod status on under your name.
Porting the switch version of Chaika might be more simple than you think. So all it needs is probably one interrested dev owning both consoles (I would be interrested but don't own a PS4).For anyone else Wii U currently and likely will never support PS4 remote play.
Or a PC, a mobile phone, ... But as @GABO1423 said this is useless as we're talking about the Wii U.. If you say there's something wrong with your house, would you want somebody to fix it or buy another house? People act like you can't own a whole city...You can use a Nintendo Switch to do such a thing if you choose.
People like you are the reason why the Wii U failed. You can view PS4 from your Switch already.
Really; just buy a fuckin vita already.lol and damn, never saw a thread get so agressive so soon.
(OP should 'buy a fuckin vita already')already have one, just found the thread interesting(?
