Hacking New to scene.. Help me understand my new, used unpatched switch (Can i install my SX pro safely?)

Hello everybody. Long time no post

I'm entering the world of switch hacking and purchased a second-hand unpatched switch with 5.0.0 firmware and I also have a new SX pro dongle which I've had laying around since they first came out.

The SD card has some CFW related files on it which i'm struggling to understand due to being a n00b

I want to follow the instructions for SX pro installation but i'm worried my switch has been modified already and could cause complications during SX pro installation.

My SD card contents are listed in this image:

Am i okay to just backup the SD card and start with SX pro installation?

Nothing can cause problems except homebrew which does not "support" sx os. Just continue.

It seems that the previous owner was running reinx. It should be fine to just format the sd card and drop the sd boot.dat on there. You might want to make a backup of the sd card data though.
