This looks promising. Do you think can we also play the game at better framerates with this?
Ffmpeg repo will not play the game at better framerate. It just record bad framerate and it will speed up and make it look like at playable state.
Here'a an example. In real time, Mario Odyssey runs very slow in my computer but the repo record every input I have and every frame I take and make it speed up at full speed.

Note: This is an old build and an old video. Don't expect this fixed Mario Odyssey slow gameplay.
Key word: record

@CHEMI6DER so when are we going to have your unofficial build?
Might be useful for recording frame perfect TAS.

The link is in the post with the video. The Windows build is is in "Builds" section of the github repo(though that's a build of the latest Canary with this hack manually merged, not this repo in particular(that's so that the build has experimental stuff like AAC HLE)).
But I'll still post a direct link to the file either way: https://github.com/TheFearsomeDzera...-framedump-windows-mingw-28012019-06ff520.zip

Github Flagged Me again mostly for Fuck all.. Fuck Citra I'm out of here!

Did not even post a PR too Lmho..

Must be better things to move onto really...

My only Crime at the start was making PR's with Canary And I was wondering why it was pulling more files then the made PR its self.., Turns out they only had to tell me to work off the "main master branch only" So you only pull the PR's you made, That had to find out for myself.. No one had a idea what I was asking at the time in first place lol

@drwhojan, it is about people [not citra]. And about a question inside or with what you want to be [not about f***s & outsides]
[I think it's about of what people share. Does a person like to share what he loves, what he enjoys? Or does he get itches from spreading what is he hating?]

I will repeat that latest enhancement of citra is awesome. These first colors of Anaglyph 3D are fullcolor, they are also present in Windows TriDef, Iz3D and in dolphin emulator. They are looking especially good with system color temperature tweaking.
And a method from PR is dubois, which was until now present (!)only in dolphin emulator, which is also very beautiful while being free of any tweaking.

I would like to suggest to keep all the methods alive, because different games with different color palettes are looking better in different methods. And it's always becoming a surprise when Anaglyph grayscale mode occasionally wins amongst them.
----------

And also I did like your suggestion to put on what I had in mind in a vision [and not in a words] [because it's how things works) There is CPUs that are trying to do GPU work and GPUs that has it's own cores, clocks, computing, memory and are trying to do vice versa. I like to see the same in people.]

And I am doing a gameplay footage of all the different anaglyph modes that I described above
[because showing of video is better then screenshotes, especially since I've found that even experienced users has troubles to see a difference between flat and anaglyphed image]
[though it's better, I don't know how to get rid of extra ghosting in recorded gameplay] [but I am still want to]
[and for a last 3 days I'm stuck in combining of 17 VBR videos into a whole one. It compiles and converts from VBR to CBR and in another way just too long] [it would be better if I started experimenting with adding of text, transitions and converting with smaller 30-seconds examples before applying to all videos. Also Movie Maker is adding ghosting even worser. So all my hopes now are for quickly learning of Adobe Premiere and finally finishing this today or tomorrow]
----------

added after some days:
- I'v done it, but it was deleted from here. I hope you have seen it. And I am sorry for a mistake, lots of thanks are to xperia64 too. It's just thanks to all of your mentions I get a know of Anaglyph support for citra.
Without it I would know on myself only after ~2 monthes after writing of this edit. [without knowing that there was Anaglyph fullcolor - only dubois] [not Adobe Premiere, but Avidemux helped me more]

- It's better to play on youtube - there are quick time travel points:

@Dukatti

It's his PR = Pull request that dose the Anaglyph 3D, I'm not a programmer myself, Well have small cracks at it.

I only asked the guy, if possible no make a outside of settings box for the Deph Slider ?, They keep marking any of my post as Spam..

Then soon as they find out who I Am then they Flagged me, Meaning Am a Ghost and my post not seen.

Ok so I made some Mistakes in the pass I admit that!, But they pull it over you Forever..

Just someone there who don't like you really, Mostly points out and the end of the day.
--------

Btw where you post your videos ?, you can post url here would like to see them :)

I also have it a crack about making that outside of setting box, I got the box but could not hook it to the inside settings for Anaglyph 3D .

Guys what about the build of bobcat24@gmx,com (must be Chinese)?
Is it any better than canary build?
The link to it is on the top of page 457 i believe

Any think better then the Canary builds at times, Simple answer is "give it a go are you will nether know!"

Even them Canary PRs make it unofficial in many ways too cof..

Most of the chines builds are just taken/used from what we do.

I'll be posting an update with latest updates later on.

Are there any plans on implementing a savestate function to the emulator?
I think this is sorely lacking compared to other emulators and should be a key feature.

The usual dev excuse is that it's either A) Citra is still experimental, things might change and having savestates would be a nightamare B) Dumping ~200Mb of data every time you want to savestate isn't really practical C) the famous "it's not the main priority right now"(though then comes the question of what's the main priority?, cause any good new idea(savestates, vfs or even a new graphics frontend(thought the last is actually hard to implement)) always get turned down in favour of the "main priority stuff")
But, I guess, it is possible to implement savestates. We only need to dump the ram and cpu registers(and maybe some other stuff?) into a file and then load it back...I may try it when I get back home

@CHEMI6DER [I think] a main priority is in to emulating everything [core, pica gpu, ... what's more?] in a best of available programming\structuring way to a state of nearly the same word as "working" with calculating in mind
that with speedhacks and new backend it will be fast for a nearly the same word as "everyone"

[the way that ~every game will work due to a design of one emulator then of a 1000 games workarounds]
[however there is also an optimal point of attracting sources, players, and faster testing. So while it seems that Vulkan backend and savestates might add some huge attention - it might be already calculated by a smarter and stronger team of citra, so the emulator is already in his most perfect of available development states]

[dumping 200Mb is absolutely bearable, especially due to a sizes that rpcs3, cemu grows]

I can agree with you that there are more important things than savestates. The projects section of citra's github repo does mention that pica stuff still has to be improved and that the software renderer is totally abandoned(though it's useless for almost anything but developement related tasks). I totally get why vulkan is axed(cause there's no complete software renderer to fall back to for unimplemented stuff, but also because of licensing crap(apparently the interpreter is not gpl2 comliant)) But I'm still not getting why such important thing as VFS gets axed when someone has the initiative to do something about it. Yes, citra did, does and will work fine without vfs support, but it'll be a lot easier to deal with filesystem stuff.(and most importantly, a lot of code can be just backported from yuzu which already has vfs)
I'm just saying this, because turning down every single idea isn't the best thing. I totaly agree that hacky stuff shouldn't get implemented, but at the same time there's no reason to axe useful features which just make the emulator better. An even bigger problem is that most of citra dev switched to work on yuzu, so there haven't been to many important updates lately(except for dsp lle).
Just a quick footnote: I'm not trying to be disrespectful to any citra developers. Also I didn't make up any of the excuses in my previous post, all that is what I've read on citra forums/subreddit and all of it was said by one of the core developers(you can actually just search for these and see for yourself)

@CHEMI6DER I see one lovely way to think, and sure there does exist more:

1. citra devs have their own strong plan [maybe a will, you can call it an idea] and when they read new ones they still like their way more
2. a chosen ones with there will of the same strength as citra devs will fork in a way as a lot of contributors did here with updating builds as often as they want to
3. https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/pull/3403 citra's VFS still does await. And as much as I googled in Yuzu it was a matter of a one man's great act too
4. any dev is a human. For now he has time and sources to learn, investigate and contribute - then he sees that it's better to develop a new project. Or to make breaks. Or then to develop everything simultaneously.

[I remember two latest great updates - adding of Anaglyph support + adding of filters, especially a Nearest one and there were random short slowdowns in Sonic Lost World that were fixed recently, which are probably affecting other games as well]

[in addition it's better for me not to discuss here at all. Because I have my work, and feel guilty for not testing, and not contributing. It's better to leave a discussion for active alive testers, modders and developers that does create a meaning]

Well, you're totally right about this. Anyone can contribute to the project, so my complaints weren't really justified.
