Hi, "That-Shortcut-Thingy" uses an outdated version of libctru. I was only able to compile it because I had an old libctru 1.5.0 from tinkering with Luma 9.1. Unfortunately, the makers of devkitpro are against redistribution of outdated versions and - as they are the bedrock of the whole scene - that should be respected.

Thank you very much! To be honest i only care about redshift, i dont need anything else. The plugin suport on the luma firm that you upload here works great, so i dont need that you upgrade that, i just need the same things of your firm but with the new luma version.

Sorry, I mean that there won't be plugin support until the official release of the CTRPF v0.6.0 new .3GX format (header 3GX$0002) plugin from Nanquitas and PabloMK7: https://github.com/mariohackandglitch/CTRPluginFramework-BlankTemplate. "My" v9.1 Luma build uses their soon-to-be-deprecated CTRPF v.0.5.1 .3GX plugin, so even if I had the skills to update it to Luma v10.2 it would go out of date quickly.
Hi, can you update your luma plus redshift firm with latest luma version?

Hello, edits are still WIP since starting anew on Luma 10.2. I've got a rough re-implementation of Sono's redshift. However, plugin support is beyond my abilities and therefore reliant on an official upgrade from Nanquitas et. al. There are a few other minor features that not everyone may want, but I don't have time to make them optional for now as I work on new features... I'll upload a new WIP version soon :).

I appreciate the convenience of emulation - but at the same time there is a feeling you get from using original hardware that's hard to match.

Not so sure about that - the tendency for "graphics uber alles" tends to lead to very high power consumption

If you look at what's now portability graphics are catching up to console quality

The thing is that the IATA rules impose a pretty hard limit of 100Wh on battery sizes for lithium batteries - and it doesn't look like Li is going away soon

  • T @ trimesh:
So if you want (say) 4 hours of runtime you need a maximum system-level power consumption of 25W

For reference, the PS5 is rated at 350W and the Xbox series X at 275W - and that's console only, without any display
