Hacking My Wii seems to be an early model, so why can't I install BootMii on Boot2?

I have a Wii, it's got GameCube ports, so there was a higher chance of it being able to have it's Boot2 as BootMii. It's Serial Number is LU117235234. But HackMii can only be installed on IOS 254. Am I doing something wrong or is HackMii telling the truth?

There is no need to open a discussion about this, your Wii is a newer model so you can’t. But if I’m wrong, you can ask me stuff whenever you want.

It should be RVL-001 to install Bootmii as boot2.

Wow, sorry. I am wrong, but if you can send me pictures of your Wii’s bottom and the exact Bootmii installing dialog, I can help better.

Only the serial number can be used and it looks like it’s incompatible:

For that dialog, yours is not compatible.

LU11746XXXX is the only one similar one with the first 3 numbers to be 117. However if you were to follow that format my serial would be LU11723XXXX, a serial not listed on that thread. I'll get a picture of the bottom and the HackMii message as soon as I can.
