Hacking Homebrew BootMii as boot2 installing but not working?

Hi! So I have an original white Wii which according to syscheck is a launch model. For whatever reason, it gives me the option to install bootmii as boot2, it installs, but when I try to boot it instead it just takes forever to start, the disc drive light flashes, and it just takes me to the system menu instead. I'm just wondering what causes this, and is there any way to get bootmii as boot2 working? Thanks in advance.

You should be able to boot into BootMii as boot2 by holding down RESET whilst powering on. If the BootMii menu doesn't appear, then likely the BootMii files are not on the SD card or is corrupted.

Controls you can use either a GameCube controller or the POWER and RESET buttons on the Wii. The POWER button is for navigation, and RESET to select an option.

Hi everyone.
I have some silly question :
Lets assume we have some boot2 compatible wii
We would setup HBC/Priiloader/Bootmii as IOS and boot2 on it and make it brick resist
but we wont backeup its nand or lets assume we lost the nand backup files for some reason
eventually our wii lost its priiloader and bootmii IOS and HBC removed
now we haven't any priiloader / neither bootmii as IOS / neither HBC
and furthermore our wii got brick for some reason!
now the only access to wii is bootmii if we have a memory card that has bootmi folder and it cause we boot into bootmii thanks to having it on boot2.
and whats important is we wont have nand backup
in this situation is there some way to revive the console?
in bootmii there is option to explore memcard but it wont do any usful action.

Yes u can recover, either by launching the hbc and reversing the cause of brick (reinstalling the hbc if missing using bootmii's sd menu to launch bootmini.elf). If u lost the bootmii folder it can be downloaded and saved again to sd.

If this isn't possible, u can make a new nand backup, then use that as the basis to build a new fresh ohneschwanzenegger nand and restore that

really I haven't check it ever.
I make this question just for highlighting a [ Boot2 Compatible Wii ] precious

The only 2 apps I know of off the top of my head that can be launched via bootmii's sd menu is the hackmii installer's bootmini.elf AND Wii Linux

yes! I lunched bootmini.elf via bootmii sd explorer and Hackmii 1.2 lunched
I have been broked 2 of my wii consoles last year but after many dozen of wiis that I handled and Jailbreak work I got some experince and now I am find out when I downgrade my first wii why it got wii menu break
that past time I couldnt understand whats wrong with my action but recently I got the cause
when we migrate to certain wii menu either newer/older ver. we must have proper IOS that support certain wii menu version wii menu changing is critical because it erase priiloader if we havent boot2 and got brick there is no bootmii no priiloader no wii menu appers and : farewell sweet and dear wii.
I got few experience I know but their so helpful and I owe these experiences to Masters like :
