Is Crash Bandicoot coming to Nintendo Switch?

crash-logo.png

In the light of Nintendo's great sales numbers it seems like activision are looking to bring their recently released Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy to the hand-held market.
According to Max Arguile, licensing manager for GB Eye "Activision is going all in on Crash with a PC and Nintendo Switch port slated for this year and a brand new instalment in 2019."

This is not the first time fan's have been hopeful for a Switch release, keymailer.co accidentally listed a Switch version a few months ago.

Crash the Mighty Echidna for Sma5h confirmed?
Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit! Then the following step could be:

Super Sma5h Bros X PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale!
Sony doesn't own Crash hell I don't think they ever did I believe it was just between them and Universal then Universal sold the Crash rights to activision

Why Activision published and developed the game they even own the IP

I spent so much damn time playing the second Gex. Favorite area was the haunted house. Such a good platformer. I'd kill for a Switch release.
Dude, right??! Gah Gex 3 was SO good, too! Like it's one of my favorite series and it's criminally underlooked!

Activision is also Blizzard now, so I wonder if the PC release will be Battle.net app or Steam?
I'm thinking both Crash is a single player title no need for them to make it Battle.net exclusive that would be shooting themselves in the foot.

Yeah thought that that is the reason, but you mentioned the other 2 games may be better in that aspect so i gotta try them out sometime. Otherwise I would have never picked up the game again i guess^^

I sure hope so, Crash was so fun back in the day, and still is! I'm seriously hoping that it's true.

Crash N-Sane Triology will most likely be a PlayStation Exclusive after all the first 3 crash games were PS1 exclusive so it makes sence for the N-Sane Trilogy to be a PS4 exclusive
why? activision developed, activision is 3rd party, in the entire game you dont see a sony logo, they just payed for some exclusivity, and rumors said they paid one year exclusive and that is coming to an end preety soon, there is no reason activsion wouldnt want to make more money by just porting the trilogy.

Uh no, Sony doesn't deserve to keep the IP, they don't even own it, it's not their choice to make. I swear there's a hidden schadenfreude in people who secretly want to never see the game on other consoles.

In other words, it's like people secretly never want to see it on anything other than their precious PS4.

I’m not saying that it isn’t gonna be released on other consoles and i’m not against it being on other consoles heck i would love to play the n-sane trilogy on the go on the switch but i’m just saying that it could end up being on PS4 only as the original games were a PS1 exclusive

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

After all both crash and the playstation brand both celebrated their 20th anniversaries in 2016/2017

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also theres no point in responding to me as i’m not gonna debate/cause an argument i’m stating my opinions and moving on

Really because there's proof it's a timed exclusive

"PS4 and PS4 Pro first" doesn't mean "exclusive".

id say this is a fan dream, crash n sane trilogy is a PS exclusive.

regardless of the switch success, XBOX ONE has larger install base and it is never came to or has plans to come to the XBOX ONE, it also has better hardware so it would mean a simple port, whereas for the switch it would need watering down.
guess the fan dream is real lol and no announcement for xb1 still.
