you first make a whilelist that will launch RL with your gamecart (a tool will be published), then, whenever you boot your dsi with that cart, RL will launch boot.nds from your SD. you can make hiyaCFW to be your boot.nds, and by that it'll launch hiyaCFW by startup (as long you have your cart inserted)
Then what is the RocketLauncher.nds meant for? Is it the tool that will create the whitelist?

So, basically...
Patch whitelist > rename hiyaCFW.nds to boot.nds > insert gamecard > boot DSi.
Well, then why the hell do we need RocketLauncher?

ntr carts don't have autoboot, you need to patch whitelist>boot.nds on sd card>insert gamecard>boot dsi>boot gamecard>now you're in hiyaCFW
i think they will implement RocketLauncher in HiyaCFW

Oh, it makes so much sense now. So it's basically one-tap boot.

RocketLauncher loads a payload, in this case HiyaCFW. Similarly to Arm9LoaderHax or Boot9Strap. You install RocketLauncher to a gamecard, for example, and when executed, it loads whatever payload is on the SD card (the bin file).

Yes, but it's not like they tried to exploit those stupid Brain Age games no one cares of...
They could potentially have an exploit.
How do you know they didn't try....your just assuming they didn't try, and even if they didn't maybe they know better than you and know what type of games would have the best possible chances of containing an exploitable flaw, usually games with user generated content offer the best attack surface so would be the obvious choice for searching for exploits

Basically unless you want to do better don't bother crying that devs don't confer with you before making exploits as to which game will suit you best

Coincidentally, I already have Brain Training: Arts Edition on my DSi.
It's more useful to operate Nintendo DSi Sound than Brain Age because it is present on each DSi but every exploit is good to take
DSisoundhax may be an advantage for Korean users, as well as people who literally don't have any downloadable apps on their DSi systems. BTW, how difficult it is to find an exploit in DSi Sound, and could it potentially be the same as 3DSsoundhax?

I didn't hear any news about it. I'm very close to the DSi Hacking stuff actually.

People have unrealistic ideas about what this will allow them to do.

You will not be able to install NDS games to SD card and play them like you can digital titles on the 3DS. The only way you will get to play NDS games will be using SRLoader and nds-bootstrap (nds-bootstrap makes the game work | SRLoader lets you load them from the home menu). You will have to make do with patchy compatibility if you do this.

It should be possible to use SRLoader to have pretty icons on your home menu that link to games stored on a flashcart - compatibility here will be as good as the flashcart you use BUT will require games to be on the flashcart as normal not on your DSi SD card. The nice thing here is you get to use Nintendo's nice home menu instead of the (often nasty) flashcart GUIs.

You will be able to install DSiWare - all the stuff that was originally digital distribution - You will be able to "find" these and install them to your system as if they were downloaded from the now defunct store.

You will be able to install homebrew applications.

Hey everyone, just a quick update on the site-- everything's going smoothly! At this rate, I should be done by tonight. I'm borrowing a couple assets from some other guide sites, but all the wording will be completely original. Might release the URL soon, we'll see.
Looks like I finished those badges earlier than expected... Ahahaha...
I actually remembered to save the large one too!

Those look great! If I ever add a day 1 installer system to the site, would you mind if I used these? They look awesome. Ofcourse if I did you would be in the credits :P
