Homebrew ALL 3 Methods to get unbanned from recent ban wave

I just tried method 3 (due to recent 002-0102 ban in May) and got unbanned. Thanks a lot for the guide.

Yep if you got the Pokemon ban you can't get nnid services back. Unless you figure out a method or talk to the people who know a private method.

Ok so i'm probably going to ask some stupid questions since i'm not very good at this.
1. I'm not 100% sure how to set up Decrypt9, is there a guide for it?
2. My N3DS has the CFW Ban, It was previously system transferred from and O3DS. I would prefer to save Method 2 as a more permanent fix once this mess is more figured out, and use Method 3 for now. So I would back up my seed for 2 later and just go as planned for Method 3 correct?
3. When it comes to my NNID, will I loose access to it once I unban? Is there any way to salvage it?

You can't unban an NNID period. It's banned on Ninty's servers, not just your console. The most you can do is remove it from being linked to your console so you can use eShop and stuff by injecting a blank nnidsave.bin. Otherwise the only other way to get rid of it is through a system transfer on a fresh console, which will allow you to create a new one.

TL;DR; NNID bans are permanent and can't be removed, only bypassed. You can NEVER use a banned NNID again, ever.

1)If you have luma as a9lh or BS9 then download it from it github then copy the .firm file(or the .bin if you have a9lh) to luma/payloads on your sd.

3)No ounce you unban everything would be like it did before you got banned so nothing would happen to your nnid.

Ok thank you so much! I just wanted to make sure before I attempted anything. Gonna clean up my N3DS and use my O3DS for anything majorly CFW till we have a better understanding.

From the SuMo bans they were. I assumed that's what they meant, not the recent banwave. And yes if you do it right it transfers all the bans to a target console. Though, it doesn't work past 11.2 or so. I was able to completely unban my original console from that hayperban and was able to make a new NNID on the same console and everything.

I don't see anything covering what you were talking about. All I see is "Soon™" on the FAQ page. The rest of that is for accessing Miiverse from anywhere, unless I'm just missing something.


No idea yet because I don't have much time to mess around with the 3DS these days, but using the ITCM method still works with B9S (duh). Problem is that I don't have permission to release anything, and probably won't ever at least until something else is released publicly by somebody else or when the 3DS hits EoL (aka, when it's useless). This isn't me being stingy, but the original developer being incredibly cautious since we don't want Nintendo patching the only thing we know to use at this point in time.

I can give a hint, though. Dump the ITCM to your SD with GodMode9 (MEMORY VIRTUAL > itcm.mem), copy it to a PC that has dd (Linux and OS X has this natively, and you can use Cygwin on Windows), and do the following:

dd if=itcm.mem of=DeviceID.bin bs=1 skip=14340 count=4
dd if=itcm.mem of=CTCert.bin bs=1 skip=14360 count=104

What you do from here is up to you. Also, if you use a mismatched console (your source console is an O3DS and your banned console is an N3DS, for example) you'll need a way to patch the eShop to disable update checks. Otherwise it'll throw up an update nag every time you attempt to access it since NIM sees that you're missing titles for the console you're reporting to be. Luma had this functionality prior to 6.5, but it was stripped out since it apparently caused problems. You can look through this commit for reference.

Make sure that his sd card only have one LFCS_B and make sure that it is the same as yours ( using for example godomode 9 to compare). if not, copy yours again to your sd card
