Hey man, thanks a lot for the tool. The effort the community makes to make our gaming lives easier and more pleasant is unbelievable.

I need help with an issue trying to install your tool, but the problem goes beyond it i guess.

Through my searches with google, a single one person seems to suffer from the same issue, and he asked it on reddit a couple days ago with no answers.

In a nutshell, i've softmoded my vWii fine and run it perfectly through sysNand with HBC and UsbLoader GX running great. Thing is, when i try to run vWii from the redNand-Mocha i get this infamous message for some reason:

"the system files are corrupted please refer to wii operations manual for help troubleshooting"

I can't play VC Wii games either from the redNand-Mocha, don't know why. Same issues.
I thought the vWii system operations were completely different from the Wii U, as you can brick one but not the other. So to my laymans knowledge this makes no sense whatsoever.

Everything in my system modding is updated stuff, as i've used a custom package with the updated tools to softmod everything a couple days ago, following the Faq from here and reddit. This is the only issue i'm having and as much as i hate creating new topics on help, i couldnt adress this elsewhere.

So, in a similar way, when i went and tried to install your tool, it redirects me to vWii okay on the redNand-Mocha, but after the Wii black and white logo i get the same message.
Again, i can acess perfectly the moded vWii on the sysNand.

If you, or anyone else can help me, it'd be awesome.

This is just a forwarder for HBL2HBC, I'd ask in the original thread for HBL2HBC. AFAIK, and I don't know much about a rednand, because I don't use one, there is no reason for one, at least for me, but I don't think they've ever had vWii work correctly using rednand. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is correct from the last thing I read about it.

Yeah, i've thought over and over about doing rednand softmoding. But, to be absolutely safe i did it, as i barely managed to get money to buy the console.

Yes I tried WiiFlow but I am ever crashing on boot, so annoying, I expect that CFG USB never fails bhecause I cannot load Wii games from USB here.

Quick question, is it safe to install this forwarder channel to internal memory instead of a usb drive? I have heard that it's better to install things to a USB drive, but this would be much more convenient on internal memory. Thanks!

It's up to you, installing it to USB or NAND doesnt make any difference.

Is there anyway to modify this to load wiiflow since it has Wii u pro controller support and i don't have to use a wii mote period if this was the case?

I use this to start wiiflow.
Put hbl2hbc.txt on root of sd with following line only:

DWFA=WiiFlow

This will prevent the menu appearing as only one entry exists and boot that entry.
If you want to show the menu add at least one more line like:

LULZ=Homebrew Channel
DWFA=WiiFlow

Note: AFAIK, you'll still need a wiimote once you exit wiiflow and want to come back to the wiiu side again.

Not really. Wiiflow can load the channels installed on the system. Just make it load wii u channel, and B-I-N-G-O! No more wii mote transitions to vwii and back.

I tried that but must be missing something.
I tried Wiiflow -> NAND menu -> select Wii U menu -> Play. Then I get a Warning Health&Safety screen asking me to press A but the WiiUPro controller is not available at this time.

Never was a issue for me, i been using wiiflow master mod pack, i usually just have my settings that if i quit the app, to just take me to wii u, or it should manually work.

No luck here. Whatever I try when exiting Wiiflow (mastermod 1054) or running WiiU menu from the NAND source list it will just dump me back to the vWii menu. Pity.

It looks great but I already use haxchi to boot hbl2hbc, your work is still wonderful!

I made some icons for USB-Loader GX.
Just replace the tgas and meta.xml via ftpiiu here:

Could someone do the same kind of stuff for Wiiflow please ? I don't know how to edit meta files. I edited my hbl2hbc txt file to launch Wiiflow directly, now I'd like to edit my hbl2hbc forwarder accordingly

I made the CFG USB loader meta files, Just replace the files in the folder: "storage_mlc/usr/title/00050000/13374843/meta/" with ftpiiu everywhere, restart the console and done.

I need to create the same forwarder. Can you help me on this?
