New release:

v0.4.0
  • New Cheats
    1. None
  • New Features
    1. Spawn ID now has a Random option. Will randomize a Pokémon between 1 and 802 along with randomizing the form.
    2. Spawn Level now has a passthrough option that leaves wild level untouched.
    3. Spawner no longer disabled after changing ID, Level or Form
    4. Shiny encounter odds can now be changed. From 1/1 (always shiny) to 1/4096 (Normal odds) it increases in powers of two: 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 ... etc.
  • Bug fixes:
    1. 100% Catch rate can now properly be disabled
    2. Minior's form cannot be set with the Spawner due to how the game generates Minior specifically. Form option updated to reflect this.
    3. Unobtainable items from the Berry and Medicine bags have been removed. Running the code again will remove unobtainable items that were previously granted.

May I ask your reasoning for removing unobtainable items?

It made sense when you weren't including codes that would result in non-legit Pokemon, so there was a "fully legit" theme for the plugin.

But now that you have added those codes, why not keep the unobtainable items?

Because it not just a case of not including them, the code actually removes them if they are already in the bag.

Legitimate question, not trying to be a dick, I'm just trying to understand your reasoning.

I'm concerned about bans based on uploading your save data to PGL or while online. Scanning for items you aren't meant to have would be a good indicator that hacks were applied. Illegitimate Pokémon are one thing, so many were made in prior generations and are now actively blocked that I don't think anyone will be banned for having one. But having an item you're not meant to, short of someone giving it to their Pokémon to hold and trading it to you (and even then I'm unsure if that's blocked too) would scream that you're hacking. If you want to illegitimate items then PKHeX can add them or I may add the currently removed ones back in via one of the "illegal" cheats.

This is the same reason I made it so changing gender adds or removes the Makeup key item.

^This is why I'm not updating the copy of the plugin, since it's not needed to remove the feature. The only thing that would be needed is to add the ability to remove the unobtainable items, while keeping the original cheat.

The plugin is open source and the history is available for view. Feel free to add them back in yourself if you'd like.

Nah, I'm actually surprised how I never got banned on the PGL. I already have all of the unobtainable items on my save, and participated in several online competitions.

Though, I was never stupid enough to use codes that give you a direct unfair advantage against opponents...

I've done requests that included unavailable items like the Rowap berry, but haven't ticked off any alarms. Granted, I don't remember at what point I hacked in Rowap berries, either before connecting online, or after. Either way, Rowap berries do not trade over, you get the "There's a problem with your Pokemon" message. Somehow that item's been requested a bunch of times.

Interesting! So items are screened when trying to trade online. I wonder if that means you can't battle online with unobtainable items either.

I'm pretty sure that's the case, it's like Gen VI, you get halted with "There's a problem with your pokemon" when entering online. That happens with other illegal elements, surely it happens with unobtainable items.

First post:
To those new to NTR plugins, you’ll need a 3DS with a custom firmware like Luma3DS, BootNTR Selector, and a new3DS or new3DS XL as NTR does not work with extended memory games such as Sun and Moon on old3DS.

Thanks, can you maybe also do update the form spawner to spawn Mega's?

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
