It already exists. Its called spoofing with wup installer (you know what wup installer was originally for).

Oh yes now I see, we just overwrite the version.bin with the latest. Has anyone tried changing it to higher version number than 5.5.1 since now we have full access to the system? Like 6.0.0 or the like? It could let us update titles and such without needing NNU patcher and no need to use a custom DNS.
