Hacking I want to know more about how the Wii U boots

So, I want to know more about how the Wii U boots up. I wanna know about things like the bootloader, or the bios (if there is one), and whether it could be possible to boot an OS from a storage device other than any internal ones, such as a CD or SD card or USB flash drive. Is there anywhere where I can find this information?

Just watched the whole thing. So, it is possible to boot a signed SD card image used for recovery by Nintendo. But, only Nintendo has access to this image, and no-one has leaked it (yet). And here I was, thinking that it would be possible to install Mac OS X 10.2 (which runs on PPC, which is the Wii U's CPU architecture) on the Wii U....

How did you think that? You can't just install a os on a console without a shitton of tweaking and hardware mods.

Also people would prefer to install Linux not mac os

I mean if TRI-nux was a thing, theoretically that leaked image would allow us something akin to A9LH or a port of the Linux kernel (maybe?)

Never say never. Linux would come first though.
