And is there a Dsiware folder (tgere should be a folder called export and a .bin file inside of that) in the Nintendo 3ds folder? You should see it after going into two 32 charachter id folders inside it

GodMode9 does not support multiple EmuNANDs (on one SD card). You could use Decrypt9 to dump the CTRNAND from that second EmuNAND and mount the dumped CTRNAND is OSFmount (on WIndows) or in GodMode9. Then use Decrypt9 to inject it back.

Thank you for the reply. I have another question regarding Godmode9.
I was recommended by you, in a other thread to use G9 to format my sdcard as I was experiencing problems while using the PC "Multi nand" tool.
At that time I went to the Format SD card part, and input per your recommendation the amount of space needed. Which would be 4096mb (2x emunand).
At that point I could freely inject my nand dumps to emunand#1 and emunand#2 using the pc tool and everything was fine.

I did the same procedure to my new SD card, but with other results.
If I inject something to "emunand#1" Luma can't seem to find it.
If I inject to #2 it's ok.

So, I figured I would try using a tool on 3DS itself.
I open Hourglass9 -> EmuNAND Backup/Restore Options -> EmuNAND Restore.
I'm faced with the option of two emuNANDS. EmuNAND#0, and EmuNAND#1 respectively.
Trying to use EmuNAND#0 "Using Rednand @ 000001/000001" tells me there is not enough available space.
Trying to use EmuNAND#1 "Using RedNAND @ 400001 / 400001" works fine.

I think Godmode9 is doing something strange with the formatting. Last night when I tried to dump the nand that was injected into "EmuNAND#1" using the PCtool, I got an error stating that the last two gb where not in use, and it refused to dump my nand.

Looks fine to me, you have duplicated folders, make a backup of this one first, then try deleting the duplicated folders and then try again.

I successfully downgraded the FIRM. I cant find the next guide for a n3ds xl to get a9lh. could you link me the tut that includes downgrading from 11.0(10.4) to 9.2, and then installing a9lh, thanks!

Hey, I don't know if this is the right section to ask this, but I'll try it here.
I tried to downgrade my N3DS from 9.6 to 9.2. After sometime the 3DS showed me an error and the system only started again, when I put out the SD Card. I fixed that, but now I got a new problem.

I tried to install Decrypt9 today, but whenever I tried to start it, it showed a blackscreen for 1 second and brang me back to the Homebrew Menu. I read many things and realized that I got a partial downgrade.

I read that a few people, who had the same problem upgraded the system to 10.3 and downgraded to 9.2 then.
I wanted to try the same, got update files for 10.3 blabla...but when I start sysUpdater (v.4.2b and 4.2, tried both) it starts, I press upgrade, it shows me the error:

Getting CIA file informations...

titleExpection:
main.cpp:148: Result: 0xD900182F
Failed to get CIA file info!

I tried it again and again about 40 times.
Does somebody know what to do?

Sky3DS, price is around 100usd, you could also buy an old 3ds with a fw 10.7 or lower and downgrade your device with it to install a CFW. I found an old 3ds on ebay on a low fw and CFW is much better than any flashcart (In my opinion)

There's also an R4 card that plays 3DS games, not sure which one it is but price is always around ~90 dollars

It's rather unlikely GM9 is at fault. If the formatting would have gone wrong in any way, you wouldn't even be able to access the files on your SD card. You can try this test build of D9WIP instead of Hourglass9:

Try to restore EmuNAND #0 with this. If it still doesn't work, repost in the Decrypt9WIP thread (Hourglass9 uses the same codebase as D9WIP) with the additional details. It will go under in this thread otherwise.

Just a small question. Is it possible to move an Emunand from an o3ds XL to a n3ds XL?

I own an old 3ds with Gateway and I want to buy a new 3ds. The old 3ds contains some unsigned Cia files which are undubs/uncensored versions of some games.
I'm afraid that I have to backup each save from my games manually and inject those save files into my new 3ds. That seems like a lot of work and I'm curious if there is a better and faster way.

Hey, everyone! I have a problem with my new 3DS XL. I have luma + arm9 installed, but i can't upgrade the luma anymore, it shows that the configuration file was not found, and the place that previously showed the current installed version is empty now... It just shows the latest version available, but when I click on "install normal version", it just processes normally, but when I launch the luma app again, nothing happens, just keeps the same information as before! I uploaded some pics here to show you all... I have already placed the arm9loaderhax.bin from the GitHub.com website (related to the 6.6 version) into the root of sd card, but it didn't work :/ Please, I need to solve this issue! Thanks!!

No, if you do that you will brick

Just do A9LH on both, then do System Transfer

Allow me some quick questions please, is there is a demonstration guide or something that shows the power of the luma/a9lh I just installed? I need to know how to play the roms I downloaded for gateway before (.3ds /.3dz) files. 1 good feature about the gateway is that I had a 32gb space micro SD card to place roms on it, now with gateway emunand and settings are gone I only got my 4 gb SD card. And if the solution is about downloading a cia file for the games then I need to consider buying more SD cards (if there is no way to play .3ds files)

One option is to download and install directly with freeShop, the other is to convert your .3ds games into cias to install. You can't play .3ds or .3dz without a flashcart. You could also get an adapter and use the 32GB micro SD in your console.
