Help me, I have issues trying to get my homemade Virtual Console games to work with RedNAND.

I am just a beginner at RedNAND VC injects, and when I get homemade VC injects to show up successfully on the Wii U menu (which usually takes a moderate time to do), it will crash when I load it up.

Can someone please help me for this issue? :(
BTW: I also need help on how to make NES, SNES and N64 RedNAND injects, as well as fetching the app.xml and cos.xml for NES, SNES and GBA.

Help me, I have issues trying to get my homemade Virtual Console games to work with RedNAND. I am just a beginner at RedNAND VC injects, I have two major problems here:
  1. DS: My DS injects (Tom and Jerry Tales, to be exact) will not appear on the Wii U menu no matter what I do (using Notepad++, changing title ID on both meta.xml and app.xml, etc.), but they can still be accessed from System Config Tool.
  2. GBA: Trying to convert a GBA inject which successfully appears on the Wii U menu will result in a crash when I try to load it up.
Can someone please help me for each of these issues? :(
BTW: I also need help on how to make NES, SNES and N64 RedNAND injects, as well as fetching the app.xml and cos.xml for NES, SNES and GBA.
I can't really help you with GBA injects, but I can try to help you with DS injects.
What do you use to repack the injects? Are you signing the icon, bootscreen, and boot sound? Are you sure it doesn't appear on the home menu, doesn't it install as a corrupt title on the home menu? USB or internal memory?

It doesn't appear on the home menu, no corrupt title or anything like that. I have compression turned off for icon and bootscreen; I'm trying to make my injects look as close to the official VC as possible (meaning no changed boot sound). I'm using WiiUInstallerPacker to make my injects, and I'm installing everything to USB. I haven't even heard anything about signing icon and bootscreen.

I've only used official SDK stuff, never tried WiiUInstallerPacker, so that might be the issue. I don't know.
As for signing the icon and bootscreen, when I didn't sign it, it would install as a corrupt title on the home menu; however, I would be able to launch it with sysconfigtool, just like how you can.
Once I signed the icon and bootscreen, it would show up on the home menu just fine.

How do you even sign the icon and bootscreen?

Also, have you known that WiiUInstallerPacker includes some SDK stuff IMO?

OK, so I downloaded that, along with the Cafe SDK included with it.

Now how do you even use AppConfigTool?
Set the SDK to path, then apply that path in appconfigtool. Fill the stuff with the appropriate information.
Once you did all that, go to "Tool", "Convert Image File", then just choose your icon and bootscreen.
Finally export the entire thing, it will sign them.

After looking at the application for a while, I get it now. But I need some more research to completely figure out how to do it. Video tutorial maybe?

I've been wanting to do a DS VC injection tutorial (since some were asking for it), but I just don't know how I would make the tutorial user friendly. Not many people know how to use the SDK.
Just feel free to ask any questions if you have any.

Anyways, how do you make the VC inject appear on the Wii U menu? Not that I'm asking to sign the icon and bootscreen or anything, just how you make it appear on the Wii U menu.

By installing it with sysconfigtool. I mean, I don't really know what issue you're having. I inject the ROM into the rom.zip, modify the title ID and name, sign a cusom icon and boot screen, then I repack into an installable format with makecfmaster. Once I get the installable files, I install them to redNAND with sysconfigtool. It just works.

I did what you just said, and all I get is...a corrupt title. I changed the title ID and name while signing the icon and boot screen. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry for multiple posting, but I've been able to solve the problem I stated above. Working icon, bootscreen, name and sound. I launch it and...it crashes right after the bootscreen disappears, similar to my issues with GBA injection. Anyone had this before and know how to fix it?

Sorry for quadruple posting (again), but when I load the same game in Loadiine GX2, it crashes after the game loads. No "Welcome" screen or anything like that, just black screen. Now would be the perfect time to wait for solutions to this issue, and a tutorial in case I mess up again

EDIT: It won't work unless both the app.xml and cos.xml are untouched, which of course doesn't make the application appear on the Wii U menu in RedNAND.

Are you sure your modified title IDs are matching between both files?

Yes, both match and are made in App Config Tool. In that case, the game crashes no matter what, so I have to use an untouched app.xml and cos.xml to make the game work in Loadiine, but then again, that will make the game not show up on the menu in RedNAND.
