Hi guys,

I have a huge problem right here. My N3DS XL has been running A9LH and Luma for months and everything has been working perfectly, but since today, my SysNAND won't boot anymore. Booting into any sort of payload works fine any I can get into the Luma config screen by holding Select as well but I just can't access my SysNAND. The last things I've modified were updating to 11.2 a couple of days ago, as well as installing the new BootNTR. I've done nothing but playing Pokemon Yellow in VC since then and now my 3DS just doesn't want to boot into SysNAND. I've also updated to the most recent Luma a couple of days ago. Could I have messed up my SysNAND somehow? I mean I do have a backup but that is from the time I installed A9LH which means that I would lose a lot of stuff.

Do you guys have any idea as to what could have caused this?

Completely randomly

I'm beginning to think it's a hardware issue. Got the 3DS to boot a couple of times now. After shutting it down it just refuses to boot again, you basically have to keep on trying.

How should I delete it when I can't access my SysNAND?

so when you boot it up and when it boots up, you boot into emuNAND? (Do you have a emuNAND partition?)

because i am actually using the 'updated sysNAND' nand, like its as if you copied your emuNAND partition into the sysNAND one. (i did this because i dont need the sysNAND.)

do you have the Firm files inside the luma folder?

I always boot into sysnand right away, I don't have an emuNAND anymore. I don't have the FIRM file because I was under the impression that they're not needed with luma 6.0

It's worth to try that in hourglass9 as long as any of your NAND back up.bin is one month old or a few months older it'd work.

If you have any flashcard on the console just remove it.I had the same problem with my 3DS and it was supercard DStwo's fault.
Wow, I totally forgot about the flashcard. Turns out that actually was the problem.

PROBLEM SOLVED GUYS...and I couldn't be happier

Ohhh That was the flashcard that's causing you issues then, glad you found out the problem, I almost suggest you to restore your NAND backups. ^^

is hourglass9 the new name for decrypt9 correct?
because i replaced d9 with that one some while ago.
Nope, hourglass9 is a trimmed version of decrypt9 with only dump and inject nand options.
From the github, hourglass9 is a "Noob friendly, safe, arm9loaderhax only NAND dumper & restorer for the 3DS console".
