So I never actually installed CFW onto this 3ds, it was sold hacked to me. But yes last time this happened I remember putting Luma onto the NAND, and even if I didnt I think the auto updater even installed it on the nand for me anyways, tho not sure about that

Ah, well I'm assuming I did it at some point then most likely, though knowing my memory I probably only updated godmode or b9s and not luma on the NAND, either way once I end up replacing the micro-sd card slot that's the first thing I'll check and fix

Auto-updater? You referring to the old Luma3DS updator app?
No, it's what the latest Luma3DS versions do by default now. Say you have Luma3DS installed on the ctrnand (v.13.0) and you want to update to the latest (v.13.0.2), it'll update it automatically, if it's not installed on the ctrnand, it won't, you'd have to install it manually.

Ah yes, I see. By default, they make a copy of the FIRM to CTRNAND if an older versions exists.

So definitly necroposing my own thread. I've since tested the N3DS on and off within the past year or so on and off, both with and without the sd card, for some reason it will boot without the card in, but once its slotted in the N3DS won't boot. Haven't replaced the sd card slot yet but my assumption is its most likely the reader, seeing as I can still use the 3DS. Luma appears to work still without the card in also, running V13.0.2.

I do but the optometrist I got my glasses at last year was expensive as fuck even WITH my insurance, so I'm gonna order on Zenni and see if my insurance will reimburse it. And if they won't, then, oh well, still will be cheaper anyway
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
$90 for the safety glasses on Zenni, vs my daily wear glasses were >$200 after insurance
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Haven't been to the eye doc in like 3 years but was pretty surprised they cut the glass in office had the in like an hour ready
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
That's pretty sweet, I had to wait like a week or so for mine to be ready

But even my computer monitors, that are like 3ft away when I'm leaning back in my chair, so much easier to see now with my glasses than without

Doc was cool though, he measured my old glasses and I wanted to try different contacts than I had had previously and he's like "hmmm I bet you're this strength and that strength" and damn dude was dead on the money
