I installed A9LH a few days ago, but I used a fork that doesn't have screen-init. How can I install a different version that has screen-init?

help please ;(
It should be safe to update emunand, but you should really look into setting up a9lh instead (https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/). There is a guide somewhere around here to using gateway with luma if you really want to stick with a gateway flashcard, but do not use gateways implementation of a9lh. You will get a much better boot time, 100% boot rates for payloads, no need for emunand, and support from more than 10% of this community.

OK. I'm not doubting your advice; I'm just curious: how do I know it has screen-init now?
if "arm9loaderhax.bin" is Luma3DS:

screeninit: power on -> screen turn on -> screen turn off -> screen turn on and home menu loads

noscreeninit: power on -> screen turn on and home menu loads

noscreeninit: power on -> screen turn on and home menu loads

Then it didn't work. I put the payloads from the screeninit.7z into /a9lh.
