Hi excuse me but I am having a major problem with decrypt version 9, the latest one(?) I tried to use it on my 3ds which is updated by the way to the latest firmaware. BUT It doesn't seem to work rather kick me right off of it and send me to homebrew launcher :s which I don't understand why..I really want this to work badly but it just won't work ; ~ ; can someone please help me out here ; _ ;
You have to be on 9.2 to access Decrypt9/EmuNAND9/Hourglass9.

Google 3DS hardmod. Without either of those 2 things, you can't downgrade.
a hardware modification that lets you dump and restore sysnand with hardware. it would require soldering. you can send it to someone else for modding if you don't have soldering skills.
Damn..I can only check hardmod..but I really can't do the other option due to not having a 2nd 3ds.

since you're probably in the US, @vb_encryption_vb can do them. they did mine once so I can vouch for them. what model do you have?

well, in the mean time, don't update. if Nintendo releases a new update and you update before getting a mod, hardmod won't be able to help.
of course you can use one to downgrade (if that's what you mean), as long as you don't update to any future updates, if any of them appear.
