Sorry and thanks, just a little new to everything, that let me boot into the system and it shows that it is my old firmware on 4.5fw, so now I should be able to do a nand restore and not keep al9h this time right and i'll be back to stock 4.5fw?

I was having really bad system slow downs and trouble with certain apps/icons, I wanted to go back to complete stock and format my system and new card and the install everything fresh with the newest files to fix everything

A9lh doesn't cause that.

I'm using the 'Plailect guide' to install Luma3DS. I've gotten all the way to "Section V - Injecting FBI".

I follow all the steps 1-9 exactly, the health and safety app doesn't change, it's still health and safety upon launching.

I wondering if anyone knows how I could be doing something wrong, or if there's a way I can find an alternitive.

I've tried both Decrypt9WIP & Hourglass9. I've done the whole section V 4 times.

I know ive posted this before about having a console on 2.1E before but im now about to start, reading through this part of the guide ive been told to follow:

- I haven't made any NAND backups yet at all, although it says there is instructions in Section IV, so do i follow those first? Isn't that skipping ahead?..

- it doesn't say to do Section IV... so im a bit confused and worried ><

Also, as my system is on 2.1E do i need to format it once/twice prior doing anything? Or not as its already on 2.1? Thank you all!!!

Don't skip ahead, this is just letting you know that it's OK to skip making a backup if you don't have room in your SD card, there is a workaround to get your console out of 2.1 later if you don't have a backup at a higher firmware (9.2 ctr transfer, or (o3ds only) normal system update). So yeah since you are already on 2.1 you will just install a9lh then do a normal system update.

It is should tell you in the guide if you need to replace or delete any files.

Your using an old and outdated fbi version. Use the latest one from here

I installed the latest release, now my new fresh ds is all A9LH installed :33 this new guide, i love! So much quicker

It should have auto dumped it when you did the browser step on 2.1 (where it setup a9lh)
