What are you doing when it shuts down? Is it random or does it appear to be triggered by something?

What are the symptoms of the shutdown? (Sorry for asking a lot of questions, I'm just trying to get an idea of what's going on)Its random.
What do you mean? Like whats connected or disconnected or what happens? What are the symptoms of the shutdown? (Sorry for asking a lot of questions, I'm just trying to get an idea of what's going on)
Yeah, and what exactly happens (i.e. freezing, DSI error, black screen, etc.)What do you mean? Like whats connected or disconnected or what happens?
Yes, but they should show up as legitimate titlesDoes anyone know if installing VC wads leaves any traces? I know the homebrew channel does, but additional wads do anything?
I fixed it thanks for everything though. And it would just turn off no way to find out.Yeah, and what exactly happens (i.e. freezing, DSI error, black screen, etc.)

I think the sd card was corrupted, because I changed it and somehow that fixed it.
Forgive me if this isn't the right thread to post in. My kids want to play several Wii U games online and are unable to because it wants an update. After downloading the update (5.5.0u it seems), the Wii U gets the dreaded 162-3006 error.
Looking for other posts with that error and running syscheckhd, I think I've narrowed it down to a "bad" version of ios15 rev 1032 when 1288 is needed instead. Is that something anyone could PM ? Should I post the entire syscheckhd output?
Any help would be appreciated.
Well, I looked through those forum posts. I've tried using my phone hotspot to update and I get the same 106-3006 error. It downloads, gets to around 29% installing and then fails. Is there anything that looks wrong with my vIOSs ?
Not necessarily. It depends on what you messed with on the vWii. The only way to find out is to try to update and see if it fails. So if I am understanding this correctly I can't update my wii u to the newest version if my vwii is modded, or am I misunderstanding something?
Nope. The 5.5.1 exploit only affects the Wii U side of things, not the vWii. You still need one of the games. Is there way to install vWii without one of the needed games yet?
(Now that the 5.5.0 / 5.5.1 exploit is out)
