Gotta say I'm really glad I can outright select Wii U Pro as my controller in various games while using a Wii U Pro controller on to play anyway. xD

Also I made a video of 2 players in SM3DW using both a Wii U Pro controller and DS3 for those interested-

Somewhat surprised the performance hit wasn't as big as I was expecting with more than player tbh, outside of that single player performance seems more or less the same and for the most part cloud shadows seem to be fixed.

How are you getting sound past the title screen?

Maybe it is nvidia only? No idea.

I only get sound in the title screen/menu and also use the USA version.

At any rate also noticed the excessive darkness in TPHD for AMD owners is gone in 1.5.0 and TPHD overall looks fantastic and manages to maintain a consistent 30fps everywhere.

Edit-
Forgot to mention WWHD also runs great at a consistent 30fps indoors and 15-20fps outdoors and much less stutter in general. Still have lighting a bit too bright outdoors but looks fantastic indoors.

I never noticed this tbh, but like I said I get other weird texture issues that they aren't' getting either.

You don't get the darkness in the lower half of Link's cabin on AMD?

As someone else already mentioned that area is -suppose- to be dark and you normally need the lantern you get later to open the chest.

Instead of excessive brightness that Nvidia owners noticed in TPHD, AMD owners instead got pitch black backgrounds by comparison.
The screenshot I posted was one of the areas where everything was completely pitch black for me in 1.4.2b, and now in 1.5.0 everything is visible/looks great.

Just made a NSMBU test video. It is almost flawless, as I did not see any major graphical glitches. It has not been a year yet and we already have titles running at 60FPS ingame!

Lighting better, sky fixed, Controls are nicer with the triggers. Just need mipmapping, shadows, and whatever makes it so pixelated from a distance and some blurring as well.
I have never been more exited for a new Cemu version :yayu:

Decided to make 2 official 1.5.0 MK8 AMD Edition videos this time around for those interested-

Feel free to compare them with the previous videos I made of both courses here to note all the improvements/changes since 1.4.1-

Same. My FPS dropped in all games, I also used to have 60FPS in Mario Maker and NSMBU and Luigi U, now I have like 30-40FPS. Graphics are much better though :) Especially in MK8 and SM3DW.

Same as well.
That's why people hate it because it's slow. I used to have nearly 60FPS in 3D World but now it's solid 30FPS. Mario Maker got 35FPS not 60FPS.
A ton of FPS drop nowadays.

Yeah, but I guess that's to be expected, with all the graphical improvements. However, now that they got the controller and most of the graphical glitches out of the way, I'm guessing/hoping they'll focus their attention on performance improvement. And with each new release, we'll get a few more FPS, until all games are a solid 60FPS on a standard computer.
That's what I'm hoping/praying for.

If people are hating, they should make their own emulator. Or simply go back to 1.4.2b while waiting for the next release.
Can't believe the nerve of some people. The cemu team is making a frickin Wii U working emulator, for free (well you can donate, but noone's forcing you), and still people complain. It's actually kind of remarkable, amazing even, the human nature of never being satisfied. And then bitching to the people trying to give make you this gift about it not being good enough. Like a spoiled teenager, getting a blue Ferrari for her sweet sixteen, and bitching about it not being red and throwing a fit.

Also, what if one day, online support gets added. That would be insane. Probably impossible, considering the Wii U will have a given loadingtime each time, while loadingtimes will differ on computers, considering different specs.

Yeah, it's normal that with higher accuracy the performance goes down. However, I'm sure there are still lots of possible optimizations to get speed back up in the long run.

Yeah just update game. Better to just play on Wii u though since fps is the worst.
Ik. I just wanted to test in Cemu if that update can boot. If not, that's fine for me.
Who would really want to play Minecraft Wii U on PC when there's actually Minecraft for PC?

It may be possible though. But not in this year or next year.
For Online, I recommend using Netplay just like Dolphin.

I noticed a minor regression which crept into 1.4.2, issue still remains in 1.5.0.
