Pokémon Sun & Moon

The first details for Pokémon Sun & Moon have been revealed. These details come via the first footage of the game which showcases some new Pokémon including the starters and the legends. It will be released on November 18th 2016 in the US and Japan and November 23rd in Europe. The game takes place in the Alola Region and th three starters are the Grass/Flying Rowlet, the Fire-type Litten and the Water-type Popplio. The Japanese trailer also confirms that you can alter your skin pigment in the game, just like X & Y. Keep checking back as we get more details.

I was saying Pokemon FireRed is an original due to it's age. Not because it's the first.

HGSS is a remake of Gold and Silver, which is a classic and sequel to red,
it uses the same engine as Platinum, it has tons of post game and you can catch pretty much every legendary except for the ones in Platinum.

I don't mind the graphics. They look fine. Could they be better? Perhaps, if they dedicated the games as N3DS exclusives, sure. I'm more concerned with the changes in game mechanics, new attacks, abilities, transferring of Gen VI to VII, basically everything but the graphics and story.

I never played COD actually. It's just with Pokemon, it is admittedly formulaic, so having expectations for stories isn't really something I have. Unless the difficulty curve is the opposite of most of the main series games, one's only going to spend 24-30 hours on the story section, and hundreds of hours doing breeding, battling, catching pokemon and such. If new/changed game mechanics make that much longer journey satisfying, that's a major indication of how good the games are. Story though can impress, ORAS' Delta Episode was interesting, but the games' story worked because of nostalgia. I cared more about that than the Team Flare stuff. The AZ side story was very interesting though.

Pokemon has the same generic story over and over again. Only time that changed a bit was in Gen V but it was still generic

Ok i not read all the post but for i can see...thanks gbatemp community to be more "mature" then the italian Pokémon community. I swer the most "decent" comment i read on most web site for this game is "they look digimon...this game is shit".

My only hope, becouse the region looks intresting and only this time i don't care about a "good story" (for now, i know i supposed to be generic RPG stuff but at least do this good. Especialy when other RPG marketing to young are a better story like Inazuma Eleven...a game about "final fantasy" style soccer have a better story telling the a game when i can choose a monster and travel the word...yeah...), bring back for now one the trainer custom. The graphic and all give me the colosseum feeling (this is good) but becouse of that...for the custom trainer give me the battle revolution feeling plase. For other thing well i like the professor look very cute...ehm i mean the starter, yeah the starter, they look very cute. The owl is adorable, the cat i cool (finaly i decent cat like Pokémon) and the seel...i mean the seal is intresting. And now for real i have the hard time for a start chooice. In XY my fist reactin was the same...until i see the final evolution for Froaki...a cosplayer ninja...really? So for that moment on my hard chooise was betwen Chespin and Fennekin. This game, plase not another "i wanna be cool final evolution", give me hard time. Rowlet is a cute one, remeber me the wood figure i have for an owl. Litten i love his design and the animation when attack is cool. And finaly Popplio...stupid name aside i find this also cute and i want all 3 in my first journy in the new region but as always only one can be your first stater and the start of the new journey...so for me is a very hard chooice.

For the leggendarys im happy the fanaly, probably whe have to wait the game for say that, have a decent lion Pokémon. The bat for the Moon version remeber me a particular monster from the episode os the series "Monsters and Mysteries in Amercia" S2 EP3, they talk about a big bat monster i can appertley produce light from his head. I know the Pokèmon i probably based on the hawaii good of moon but the design remenber me that monster, especialy for the attack he show at the and of the trailer. In any case i like all two and like for the starter i have hard time choose the version. I like the lion sun and the moon bat, i think at this point i wanna all two version but maybe with more information in the future, like the exclusive Pokémon, i can choose beetwen the version but for now i want all two.

P.s: Only one problem...why Europe recive the game on November 23rd? Oh yeah is becouse when the game comes out here whe can have the entrie game spoiled by Japan and America, thanks Nintendo.

I hated 5th gen and I didn't like 6th gen. I hated 5th gen because the map was for all intents and purposes a straight line to the Elite Four. I hated 6th gen because of the ugly art style of the over world. From this two minute trailer I can already tell that the map is not a straight line, and the character models are not ugly anymore, so I am excited. I think we can tell a lot from short trailers. Just getting a sneak peak of how large Zelda U's open world got me excited. Don't be such a party pooper. Yeah I might get hyped up and then be disappointed, but that's on me.
