I'm kinda fuzzy on this. If I wanted to have NTR on and Old 3DS, I would use the Old 3DS firms with the NTR firm. But the NTR firm has the same name as the regular O3DS firm?

Yes, it's 9.6/10.2 ntr firm OR 10.4 firm (you can't use both)

Hi! I managed to resolve my problem with pokémon eclat pourpre (stuck on the GBA splash). I just removed the gba boot splash ({{0xD7A12, 0xD8B8A}, { .type1 = 0xEF01 }, 1}), and it works very well now!!
So, yeah, this gba boot splash can cause problems...

Yupz, that does the trick also for Pokemon FireRed Version but it can't save (says something about missing "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed" etc...) and Emerald does not work with this patch :/

For those who want to restore their original, unpatched TWL_FIRM and AGB_FIRM, here's what I did:

Download them with 3DNUS as .cia
The TitleIDs and version are:

Spoiler: For O3DS

TWL_FIRM: 0004013800000102, version 8817
AGB_FIRM: 0004013800000202, version 3665

Spoiler: For N3DS

TWL_FIRM: 0004013820000102, version 9936
AGB_FIRM: 0004013820000202, version 4816

For the record, on my N3DS, I couldn't install TWL_FIRM with FBI. It uninstalled the existing (patched) firm, but then gave a signature error at 97% when trying to install the original one. I redownloaded and double-checked the .cia and it was OK, so I used BBM instead of FBI to install it after that.
Note that if FBI hadn't uninstalled the existing one first, BBM probably wouldn't have allowed me to install it.

Yeah, happens to me too:

Same here: trying to turn off the console after playing Shantae (GameBoy Color VC), the screens go black, but power and wireless LEDs stay lit, and the console stays on until I hold the power button for 10 seconds or so.

N3DS, 10.7 sysNAND, no emuNAND.

Yup.

As for whether you already have AGB_FIRM patched or not, if you can already play GBA games without this latest commit, then you already have a patched AGB_FIRM.
If you can't, then you don't have a patched AGB_FIRM.

I don't think (pokémon hard fire, a romhack of pokémon fire red, works).

I had my AGB_FIRM patched a long time ago when I was using rxTools.
I tried AuReiNand_v4.1.a127a38, added the new firmwares to Aurei and it still works. So, removing the AGB_FIRM patch isn't necessary to use this.

The only benefit I can see on my N3DS is that now, my old AK2i card works on my emunand 10.7, but still not on my sysnand 9.2.
My R4i 3DS card worked on both and still does.

So my $0.02 worth...

Looks like the upcoming version of Aurei will automatically patch them, but only if they aren't already patched.
So there'll be no need to patch anymore (way to go guys!), but if you already have them patched and working, that's OK too.

I restored the unpatched FIRMs just so my sysNAND is clean (other than A9LH).

I have 28GB of unused space and I don't have anything selected in my AuReiNand settings. Anyone know what can I do to fix this problem?

for now, uncheck pre-patched firms and AuReiNAND should load and autopatch firms every time. If this works, make sure your SD Card is not accidentally set to read only then check pre-patched firms again and see if it works.
