Sorry for the wait, but I had issues with the chainloading breaking the .dat version.
Now everything is fixed.

It loads "arm9payload.bin", not decrypt9.bin.
BTW here's the decrypt9 I use. it does screen init on its own. http://www37.zippyshare.com/v/VnzdiA3h/file.html. Should also work with screen init a9lh (skips the function if screen init was done already).
Works as expected, thanks AuroraWright [emoji6]https://github.com/AuroraWright/AuReiNand/releases/tag/v3.8

"installeda9lh" is superfluous unless you use the .dat version and have A9LH too. The others are to be expected.Yup, everything works great, and we essentially have a recovery built in now.
By the way looking to do some spring cleaning on the SD card, do I still need these files?
installeda9lh
lastbootcfg
patched_firmware_sys.bin
updatedsysnand
Not sure if they were created by older releases or not. Guess they do no harm but I thought I'd ask. I'm running sysnand as my main.

@Aurora Wright, that would be awesome... if you could find some time, of course!@Aurora Wright Could you possibly update the OP with the new flags and what they all do?

You could already replace the loader.bin with Bootctr9 (the arm9bootloader file). It uses the same memory address. Will future releases allow more than one bin to be loaded, so essentially bootloader+aur in one?

NTR.Thanks for this. What is the easiest eay to get region free with this? I use hans but i would love if i can cut a step.
Yes, it's because of screen init on A9LH. There's no way of turning it off.Why does the screen backlight turns on immediately after turning the 3ds on (on high brightness, regardless of settings), and turns off, and turns back on again (with correct brightness this time)? Is it because of A9LH's screen init? Is there a way to turn it off?
I see. Will probably just ignore it.Yes, it's because of screen init on A9LH. There's no way of turning it off.
Yeah, that's why I decided to keep a no-screen-init a9lh and bundle it with d9 (makes more sense to meYes, it's because of screen init on A9LH. There's no way of turning it off.
