Okay so I am a unlucky guy who bricked his vWii before. Now I was wondering if homebrew was properly developed could we possible insta-launch the homebrew channel on vWii so that if we have a bricked vWii or some iOS went wrong we could fix it? Thanks!

based on what i read from stickies, having IOSU access can probably let us backup/modify vWii
so pretty much IOSU->Homebrew and fiddling could make it possible

Yeah I really need that. It would be so useful for my vWii...
right now its just a matter of waiting and such. when an iosu exploit is released and a homebrew is developed enough we could dump vWii and put it on another system (unless the keys are locked onto the Wii U mode/NAND)

Hmm what about just insta-launching homebrew channel or using a app in the IOSU exploit that does a SysCheck on vWii and fixes iOS. Could this be possible?

insta launching homebrew channel probably isnt possible now, due to kernel only having sd permissions, not vwii, usb, ect. after iosu is exploited, we might be able to do this (like a boot2 for vWii)
another thing that could be possible is running vWii on an unpatched/unmodified vIOS, opening HBC and continuing from there

IOSU kernel access is what you'll need to unbrick, hopefully you backed up your NAND because you'll need to flash it back or generate a new one. There are two "sides"/sheets to the NAND chip, one for Wii U and one for vWii, and you can switch between them and do read/write

Generate a new one? Please explain...
