Hypothetical question.

When Nintendo catches somebody playing online with a pirated ROM, at least with a 3DS, they ban the person. If this emulator ever gets to playable speeds, would there be any way for Nintendo to catch and penalize the people playing games such as Smash Bros on this?

Well online is LIGHTYEARS away.

wow this was gonna happen sooner or later but I'm sad that this happend
:huh:why...whats your logic there?....you worried nintendo will loose out on sales.......anyone seriously thinking this is a viable alternative to buying a wii u is messed up in the head.....its a proof of concept, by the time this is in a position to replace a wiiu the wiiu will be pretty much done for

25fps? I would have guessed 3-4 frames per minute. What are ur specs?
I'm sure that you don't really need exact specs, I'm not sure if you know what Alienware is ( Most people know. ) But it's an Alieware Desktop 17 W/Windows 8.1. If I recall properly, 7 GB of RAM, Octocore, I'm unsure of the processor... but I'll update this.

7gb ram. wat.

7 Gigabytes of RAM. I"m not technical. So, I may be wrong. My uncle spoils me and recently won a lottery ticket for $10,000 he says. ( I don't believe it, to be completely honest... ) and bought me a Gaming computer. I think it was to avoid looking suspicious...

That's a tricky one. They can ban the IP, and if they can detect who's using an emulator somehow, they can autoban everyone who's using an emulator, but other than that there's not much they can do, and IPs can often be changed rather easily even without using proxies or a VPN.

Why don't you believe it? It does happen.

I never ever said anything about sales lol. Just giving my honest opinion

Nintendo, hates piracy so much the stunt they Gamecube out of fear it might run backups, makes hardware so weak current gen consoles can be emulated.
