I didn't say it doesn't work on windows 10 at all. It just doesn't work for me. I'm not new to setting up web servers. I can guarantee if install Windows 7 on another partition or in a VM I can serve them no problem. Just haven't gotten around to it. I know the issue is likely mine and not Windows 10, as I changed a lot of their shitty settings. So something probably messing with it.. In any case, I was merely mentioning the OS. Don't read so far into it.....
It works flawlessly on Windows 10 in general, that's for sure

@EpicLPer You should compile the htmls yourself and run those over the network, that provides a higher chance of success! ;)
Yeah I tried doing that but I'm far too dumb and to "un"dev-ish to do that. I have a lot of knowledge about PCs and consoles but ain't about programing/compiling ;) I think the wiiulib site mentions something on how to compile them with Pyhton and this Wii-Dev-Program-Thing you have to install but it didn't work, once I ran make it just threw me a bunch of missing things for some reason, like "missing bin" stuff and all that, I dunno.

Also why should I get a higher chance by compiling them myself? They shouldn't be different at all.

@EpicLPer @hto60 I prefer wj44's site (http://wj44.bplaced.com/payload532.html). I only say this because I've never had problems with it really aside from listed ones, such as race attack failed (which hasnt happened in a while). Also, I can't seem to get the exploits working under Windows 10. XAMPP, NGINX and even Mongoose just show a white page when I load the exploits, not even a freeze. Something is most likely blocking them from running, but I wouldn't know what. I've tried adding the server to Windows Firewall and Defender services (even disabled them completely), and have quadruple checked html files to make sure they include the payload, and aren't the build htmls. I'm about to setup Windows 7 just for server purposes.

So anyway, what I do is use Tubehax DNS and wj44's site. Seems to work fine. Sometimes it seems like the console froze but I let it sit an extra couple seconds and the menu usually pops up to continue exploiting. If you're sure everything is up and running right, and you have typed in the correct IP address for the Wii U (static makes this easiest), try adding exceptions to antivirus and firewall for TCP Gecko.

I do use both sites, the one I posted and wj44's. Since wj44's doesn't have some things that arndroid and vice versa has I do like both.
Btw. I uploaded some stuff to epiclper.com/wiiu too, I may build that up more, not sure, just a directory listing for now.

My guess is that he said that because you'd think accessing files over your network would be more reliable or load quicker, less internet screwery but personally I have found the success rates to be the same.

It really shouldn't matter much unless you have packet loss, a routing problem, or something out of your control going on.
Actually I figured out that my router on my first tries (wasted like 4 hours on that... meh) filtered out something and only gave me a success-rate of like 1 good vs 45 bad tries even on my local network via all sorts of servers like XAMP and so on.
Switched to my phone hotspot, tried wj44's and arndroids and voila, like 5 out of 6 tries succeed ;D The last being a race attack failure from time to time.
However TCP Gecko literally NEVER worked except the version arndroid has on his site. As mentioned, this one won't just freeze my Wii U but I can't connect via the client either. NWPlayer's version just freezes my Wii U, so do all other ones I found on here and github, really weird...

Is there any way of like debugging this to show you guys then and maybe figuring out what's going wrong? I just don't want that once @crediar releases his firmware spoofer we're all waiting for so badly here won't work because of some weird configuration I might have... I dunno...
