1.4 works perfectly, but the lite version doesn't work as intended:

After installing a theme, I press the START button but it doesn't send me to the "Software closed" screen, it sends me directly back to the home menu, and only the sound has changed, not the theme.

It's normal, as i said, LITE version is only for people who got issues with v.1.4 and have all the new features of v.1.4 except for auto-POWER triggering.

the 1.4 lite work very fine for me

Okay I see, it's like the older versions of CHMM (having to restart the 3ds). Good thing 1.4 works for me no problem then, thank you.
Oh also, pressing Y to listen to the music has never worked for me, not an issue though since it's really quick & easy to apply a theme

Probably Theme Makers won't use this feature came from v.1.4. They have to provide a preview of the song theme in OGG format.

Im trying to use this with Ninjhax 2.0 (o3ds / 9.9) and it keeps saying that no theme is recognized, even though i put them in the path specified in the first post.
Any ideas of what i could be doing wrong?

Is there going to be a fix for the freezing issue caused with themes? Like when I have a large amount of themes in the folder it takes a few seconds to allow me to scroll through them and sometimes it just freezes up the system entirely, forcing me to power down the system.

Probably the issue is caused by Previews System, i can add a combination key at startup to disable previews system and then a button to show only current selected theme preview.

Does this work on n3ds using ninjhax 2.0 on firmware 9.9 sysnand? Is it possible ?

Is there a download for hinjhax? I downloaded the files but they appear as .3dsx, .cia, and .3ds. I tried searching on downloadmii but it appears to be down.

Delete BGM.btcsm file from themes before applying.

I just tried that, but I still get music =\ Should I try reinstalling CHMM entirely?
I get the same music for every theme too.

Edit: reinstalling doesn't work either. I'm gonna check if one of the themes I have is the culprit.
Edit2: I just manually disabled the BGM with YATA+. Consider it fixed.

Before changing theme you have to restore the default one (so default music will be loaded instead of theme ones).

I'm pretty sure I did just that. The theme settings in the top left corner where you can also pick several colors? That one? I did that.

CHMM v.1.5 available for download.

Changelog:

- Removed auto-preview system. Now full preview (BGM.ogg + preview.png) is done with Y button.
- Solved issue causing freeze if you have a lot of themes.
- Now moving between themes is faster.
- Added possibility to move faster in themes list with left and right dpad.

The Freeze is fixed.
I tryed it with 69 Themes. Works perfect.

It works for me, I've ran into that error, but it was a preview.png problem. It occurred when I used direct screenshot (both screens) from the 3DS which doesn't have transparency. Also yeah CHMM can't overwrite the bgm cache so you have to use a theme without background music.

Ah yes, it was indeed a problem with the preview.png file. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Is there a file size limit for the .ogg preview files?
