CHMM IS NOW OUTDATED AND WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY UPDATE. IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL CUSTOM THEMES, YOU MUST USE CHMM2 ( http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-chmm2-custom-home-menu-manager-2.397543/#post-5674095 ).

Today, i want to show you my last work: Custom Home Menu Manager.
With this homebrew, through a simple menu you can choose what theme you want to install and interchange them rapidly and safely.
You can also add a preview in .PNG,JPG or BMP format with your own theme that will be showed on TOP_SCREEN (if the PNG,JPG or BMP is too big for the screen, it can be "explored" through Circle Pad).

In the RAR file you'll find a 3DSX, a 3DS and a CIA build for this homebrew.

Themes must be put in Themes folder in their own folder (named as you want).
Themes folder for 3DS and CIA users must be put in root of SD Card. (Same if you use Ninjhax 2.0)

Controls:

A - Install theme
Y - Theme Preview
START - Exit homebrew
R = Fast switch Bottom/Top screen previews

Download: Version 1.5.1 (Mirror)

- Apache Thunder for the amazing 3D banner

THEMES INFO.LUA FILE SAMPLE FOR YOUR CREATIONS:

Image Previews: sdmc:/3DS/CHMM/Themes/MyThemeName/preview.png

Magnifico, stai lavorando perfettamente su questa scena, complimenti!
Solo 2 domande..

i cia, e questo, in quale SD devono essere messi? quelli della GW o del 3ds?

e 2.. con questo homebrew, si possono applicare/creare temi con audio moddato?
grazie..

Awesome, you are doing great work on the hombrew scene, my compliments!
I just have 2 questions:

What SD card do you put the CIA files on? The microSD in the Gateway, or the SD in the 3DS?

And 2: with this homebrew, is it possible to create and add themes with modded audio?

Thanks.

Awesome. And to hijack the thread a bit, anyone who has the 4.5CFW + 9.4 MT Emunand set up (no 3DS flash card) can still set custom themes by using Ninjhax in sysnand and installing them there. When you boot into emunand the theme will be applied (provided your sysnand and emunand are linked). Even plebs like me can use this awesome app.

And for a suggestion for the app: perhaps have a central database/site to be able to download+install themes right from the console? DownloadMii does something similar with apps. Would make getting new themes pretty convenient.

Please write english on this board.
CHMM is only for Custom Themes, not Nintendo Themes (like CIA themes).
All standard custom themes can be installed by this app (So BGM.bcstm (Audio) + ThemeManage.bin (Generated by CHMM) + body_LZ.bin (Screens))

Where i have to put theme folders with my custom themes?
on Gateway sd card, or Nintendo 3ds SD card?

Themes must be putted in Themes folder in their own folder (named as you want).
Themes folder for 3DS and CIA users must be putted in root of SD Card.

Take note that GW uses MicroSD card, not SD Card.

Great tool! Now I'd like to choose the graphics and the bgm separately...
I'll try to edit the source code later, maybe.

I forgot... with this tool, we can use custom theme immediately or first we need the exdata tool procedure for first cutom theme and then can we use this to swap custom themes?

Black screen after launching, I suppose special characters are at fault. I'll keep testing.

Edit: Okay, that's not it. It doesn't apply themes with special characters, but I can see them. Working my way up from a single digit now.

Can you make this call for the power off screen?

To all Custom Theme users, is there someone who use persistent theme option that needs DLC theme to be installed? (I mean the option provided with extdata_homemenu v.1.0)
If no, i'll add only the Persistent Theme feature implemented in v.1.1 of extdata_homemenu.

I have a DLC theme and the persistent theme cache is enabled.
