Now the question is: Will roxas75 be a hero. Not the hero we deserve, but the one we need.
Approved ^^

Hmmz,
If you look at it that way, yes it is already a cfw and not simply a tool to dump stuff (that also contributes to piracy anyway)
If he does signature patches, he also could aswell look into making his own emunand, it now still depends on GW/MT to create emunand before it can be used.
rxtools can boot into emunand! it supported 9.7 before gw
-- ah i understand, creating the emunand, yes, i agree but at least making the emunand partition is free, you don't need the gw cart.
Keep on keeping on Roxas!I really appreciate all the effort and feedback you guys give me.
Though i'm not even one of the best developers here, there are lots if hidden people who's really more skilled than me.
Back on topic, i just started to relook at my code and reorder it, it's always a good thing since everytime a project becomes bigger it gets a bit messed up, and i'm also alone.
So this is essential for the coding part.
Also remember i have my school-ending exams, so i'm doing what i can.
About the things i plan to add, this is something i'm still thinking, do not pressure me too much through PM please.
That's great! As for the plug question, I meant where did you have the plug placed? Mine's under the battery cover. gamesquest1 did an awesome job at making it fit snugly into the case I recommend his work to anyone.
8 Bit, you say? AAAwww... Now I'm gonna be visiting rxtools.net in hope of a picture or video of your changes.
As for the console printing code, does it make more sense than the one on GitHub? Seems to be code in one file, then code in another one which re-defines stuff that's defined in the previous file, etc... Would be neat if you made the code so it's easier for noobs like me, to add more stuff (just sayin... )...
Can't wait for the next release though!

Here you can see the HW MOD:
Wow! Now that's some bad-ass work! You did that? Well... Look at how conpact it all is! Especially the USB cable! Roxas was right about the dude who modded it for him.
Here's some numbers to throw down to give you a better grip on how insignificant your "Conclusion" is... Total number of registered users on gbatemp, as of time of writing is some 316,000 accounts. The vast majority of those are likely accounts that have been inactive for a while. Of the remaining accounts, there's a good chunk that are here for other consoles, such as wii-u, and also a good chunk that plain out and don't care about piracy. Then there's also a chunk of them that are already covered by other things such as Pasta firmware, Sky3ds, gateway, etc. Current 3ds sales are a little over 50 million units last I checked, so that'd be at WORST case, the better portion of ONE PERCENT of the user base that might have an interest in piracy (in all reality, it's likely FAR below that). In the grand scheme of things, that's not very significant, especially considering that most of the pirates I know at least, are some of the heaviest consumers of media. Your "conclusion" doesn't cooperate very well with math.
Wrong. See my above explanation. You're somehow being blindsided by the fact that compared to total 3ds owners, there's actually VERY few people comparatively that are aware this place exists, even fewer that want to pirate, and are willing to void their warranty on their console in order to do so, and even fewer that are willing to run the risks of pirating 3ds games.
Roxas doesn't have to do jack shit as far as it concerns me. He's one of the very very few developers who are Humble and keep their noses where it belongs which I absolutely respect! PASTA is already open source and people will probably develope it to a GW-ish level so him risking his potential freedom is not required. The only thing he might help *us* with is a simple emunand and that's it
That github repo hasn't been kept since the first introduction of rxMode. I.e., I doubt it represents much of the current codebase.https://github.com/roxas75/rxTools it's on github (but I don't think it's being kept up to date properly right now) so someone could remove sig checks anyway (Though it would be nice if it happend on the newest version so pls roxas update the github!).
I'm not gonna defend pirates, but I will say that I always buy my games used (they're just cheaper that way) so unfortunately, developers never get my money anyway :/
No offence but I've known about this forum for years but only recently signed up. All it takes is for someone is to Google "3ds rom loader", download the shit, buy a 3ds and BAM! Free warez, easier and cheaper than ever! You think the amount of GBATemp members, means squat? Heck no!
You really think that the amount of visitors on GBATemp will determine how many people pirate? Fuck no!
Don't be a dick and say that I'm " blindsided" as I'm not! I'm merely stating facts! Just because you're probably a dirty pirate yourself, doesn't mean that you can be full of your own BS and justify how many people actually pirate, assuming that you're correct.
Free piracy = More people pirating
Paid piracy = Not so many pirates, probably because of financial reasons or whatever.
It's not difficult to grasp such a basic understanding. Was I camparing Nintendo's userbase tp those who pirate? Fuck no! I was saying that Free Piracy = More Piracy. Not everyone can afford a flash card!
I couldn't pirate before - why? I don't own a flashcard! Now people like me, can pirate and it's easier than ever!
So shut the fuck up! We both have our own views, don't look down on me as if you were some big-head AHole who thinks that your view is superior to each one elses.

and as stated a long time ago (if not on the original post, then on github) the github source will only be the tools, not the CFW part. If the CFW part was there, you could be fairly certain that pasta would have emunand already (but would DSiWare and such run? maybe not...)That github repo hasn't been kept since the first introduction of rxMode. I.e., I doubt it represents much of the current codebase.
But by buying used games, you're directly or indirectly giving money to people that buy new games.
