Hacking Gateway 3.1 Zelda OoT Compatibility List. Please post

So is there any consistency as to which do or do not work.
This is all just confusing because some are confirming a version works while others say it doesnt.

I would hope that GW will release a fix if its possible, but i have a feeling that would take forever to be released.

Anyway, i purchased a AQEEY10134 from Ebay.
After canceling, a AQEE510220 version, since people were having issues with it.

Im hoping my new purchase will work when i get it, hopefully someone with this version (AQEEY10134) can verify if it works for me with a pm.

Not necessarily true. For example, the original OoT, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 were all compiled before the launch date.
It's perfectly possible that mid-production of the launch batches they switched to 1.1.

This would explain why launch OoT carts are not working with the exploit,I found it very odd that launch carts were having problems as Iloilo think the newer revisions would give the problem, if your theory is correct it explains everything. This also means if you didn't pirchase a copy at launch you are sol even then you could end up with a 1.1.

If this is the case, then this really sucks

Yea thats what im hoping.
I already went ahead and purchased it tho, before prices reach 100+ for it.
I'm hoping that we get some sort of info from GW about how to make these non-working versions work.

Edit: It worked finally after copying the save with GW 3.1 on firm 9.2 on a 2ds instead of gw 3.4 on a 4.5 orig 3ds. Still a low success rate.

Formatted Emunand and booted into gateway mode just fine, I'm able to get to the rom browser but if I go into the settings I don't get any indication of it running in gateway mode, I don't get the "GW3D" before the firmware.

is this the case for everyone ? does the beta not indicate that you are in emunand mode for everyone?
this can be very dangerous im surprised GW would release it in that condition

Try running it 4-5 times.

no gamestops are going to have new versions because new versions are listed as costing less than used versions , thats how sneaky these fuckers are
they did the same thing with CN , why would they sell you a new version for 39.00 when they can just take the plastic off of it and say oops it's used now it's worth 16.00 more, and sell it to you for 56.00 and rip you off for the extra 16 bucks

Could you do everyone a favor that to transfer savedata from your Zelda OoT3D to its version of CIA savedata? It could help for someone who is on Sky3DS. Appreciate that.

This may sound utterly retarded but did people try to first play the game normally on the N3DS, create a save and then overwrite it with the exploit?
You never know, I just find it very strange that there's little consistency.

If just creating a save file then closing the game counts, then yes.

Restored the save using the Gateway save restore feature. Cart already had a save on it. That save restores fine, only the Gateway provided save does not work.

I'm not sure if this was brought up but why not have people also mention their chip numbers? if you look on the back of the cards directly above the pins you'll see something like "r 03 H-7 001-01"

Maybe this would give a better estimate as to which chips work and which don't instead of comparing the serial numbers.

Things I tried

R4i Dongle - Copy failed around 5 - 7 times out of 10
Gateway Save Restore - Always gets a save corrupt on 4.x and 9.0 systems when trying to load the game
