I can't provide any links (mainly because the Redbox site doesn't show any Wii U games on the coming soon section), but when I was at Walmart earlier today, I ran over to the Redbox machine. Under the coming soon section, it displayed a few Wii U games that are supposed to be available starting on May 3 (Tomorrow at the time I make this post). A few of the games listed were Black Ops II, Lego City Undercover, ZombiU, and Just Dance 4.

Response?

Lol... That's EXACTLY what I was gonna do...
You mocking me? Hard to pick up sarcasm in forums sometimes. Even without the copying stuff, cool to be able to try a full version instead of trial versions. The trial versions are cool though, nice to have that option in the eShop.

A visit to the Redbox site has surprised me with the fact that apparently they're also trying to get into the business of selling event tickets. This is one hell of an ambitious company.

Outside of convenience store, I can see the market for that. "Oh, I can get it here for this price, cool." Makes sense to me, agree it is ambitious though.

It's odd, can't you like rent the game from the RedBox and not return it? A douchebag move yes, but its basically getting like a free game for like rental price? Thought about it when I was waiting outside a store for it to open and I happened to see a RedBox.

Unless they have it protected in a way that they can find you and such by credit card or whatnot, but people can provide fake info and have a credit gift card lol

Never heard of that. Usually it lets you rent movies for CHEAP and then bring them back like Blockbuster once allowed (or other chain rental stores). So, rent it for $5 or less (not sure about pricing), copy it, play it, return it. Likely 90+% won't be doing this though as they likely won't want a WiikeyU and/or won't have a soft mod IF WE EVER GET ONE, lmfao.

EDIT; avoids 6 strikes, looks like simply renting games, and you are paying something to use them, lol. Also, the speed likely will destroy the speed of downloading anyway. ONLY key I see to dowloading is "out of region" games like PAL that won't be in Red Box stations in the US (that I know of).

Edit edit, I will buy games and just back them up. Allowed a legal copy anyway, and so this is MY plan, just to clarify, not advocating piracy.

I still have a video store, but I don't know if they have a WiiU section. I would assume so, since they seem to have every other system from 360 to 3DS there.

I mainly go there for movies, they don't pull that shit that Netflix or Red Box do where they won't rent certain movies until they've already been on sale a few weeks. If it's in stores, it's on their shelves.

As for renting from RedBox and not returning it, yeah, that's why you have to pay with a CC. Fake CC? Well if you have a fake CC (and shame on you if so) why even bother with RedBox, just go buy whatever you want at the store with your fake CC and get the whole box and everything instead of just the disc.

I believe the Fake CC they are talking about is the rechargeable credit cards they sell in the store (basically a Visa/MasterCard that can be charged like a gift card), if you used one of those, you could load up as many movies as it could take and not take back. they when they go to charge the card the full price penalty fee, they would be SOL.
