I'm really interested in playing the Undub for Firestorm since I've already beaten my real copy of IE2: Blizzard.

She made her own temporary firestorm undub. LexTheOutcast was asking about firestorm anyway,not blizzard.

No actually, you're the first one to ask me this.

I can finish it if I COULD, but the problem is... I CAN'T.

The script is packed, aka those horrid .pkb files... of course, I have no access on how to unpack and repack these things without corrupting the game. Tinke lets me unpack once but the second unpacking, well, let's say it's not going well (or it stops there) which is not really useful. OTL But I like using Tinke for viewing images in all the IE games... hurhur.

TyRaNtM and his crew actually has access to these things (hence complete Blizzard Remastered), of course, I don't think they're willing to share how they did it, I tried asking once, but only the hex editor was the answer... IDK... *shrugs* And also that hex editor... do not want to touch unless I know what I'm really doing, it might make things worse... D:

And also, I've been just swapping files from the Blizzard Remastered, so you might spot some Layton characters' names in characters that aren't supposed to have them... (including the overworld heads)

Is it possible with this hack to get more passwords to get characters not recruitable in this version (ex : prominence team, kanon, dark emperor team...) ? If not, if you make a v4 patch, can you think of a way to make these characters available ?

guys, i'm having problems when i'm trying to patch a clean rom with the v3 remastered patch, but it doesn't patch and gives me a error i mentioned some post ago, it also happened with v2, only got it working with the very first release with works with a dicastia ap patched rom, and i don't know what else to do, i downloaded clean roms from everywhere i can and nothing, and i don't think i'm kind of mood for getting asnwers like "just look for another clean rom" or things like that, since some of these answers related to this problem...well, it didn't helped me, no hard feelings, but i really need some good answer since i had this problem since the first or second version of this patch
P.S: in a certain post there is a image that shows the formation of someone's team and it showed that in the right side of it, that is the bench of it's team, that person have both kanon and masato when kanon is firestorm exclusive...
P.S2: any new cheats for this game?

I always had a problem with the OP for Blizzard cause it always lagged (the video anyway). Now that Tinke has been updated to edit the subtitles, I made my own OP edit using the Jap one as a base and c/ping the translation in it, and it now syncs. I'll talk to TyRaNtM about implementing this in v4 along with these:

I edited also the "Remember!" part to "Everyone!" because "minna" in English is actually... "everyone".

I used a hex editor after TyRaNtM taught me how... But just an FYI, these are already implemented in Firestorm temporary undub.

i would like to insist on this one, and as i said, i won't accept any answer like "use another clean rom" something like that, i know this may be rude but, if whoever going to help me, and post that kind of answer, that doesn't help me...i had that problem since the release of v2....

I actually got it worked out... I'm just too lazy/distracted to put the changes that I've made to a clean ROM (I used a patched ROM as a base while doing the Firestorm undubbing)... xD;; But when I get the time, I should have another patch out explicitly for the clean ROM. Or you could just wait for TyRaNtM's final release, as we've been talking about this for a while.

So far, I haven't encountered anything strange or odd when I imported the Blizzard script files to Firestorm. Even the sound files... I just took them from the Blizzard Remastered and it still works for Firestorm (including the title screen, it says "Fire").
