It's listed as Xenoblade and not Xenoblade Chronicles on both sites.
This makes me think that they think the Wii U game X also by Monolith Soft is Xenoblade.
This is probably a placeholder for X.
Probably not a HD port of Xenoblade Chronicles otherwise the listing would say Xenoblade Chronicles.

Its far to early to be putting up preorders for a Japanese game that is in the early stages of development and not even 100% confirmed for NA. I'm willing to bet its an HD port.

No it's not, online retailers do it all the time. They do it even for rumoured titles that have never been in development.

Monolith Soft are far too busy with X to deal with this and Nintendo are having enough time with people moaning about old game ports. Wind Waker is fine, enough time has passed for that.

but isnt the first game called Xenoblade: Chronicles?
In Japan it was just named Xenoblade. They re-named it Xenoblade Chronicles for the European localization.

If NOA was handling it they would just call it Xenoblade. Reggie the NOA president claimed he liked the game alot... He might have just decided to do a Wii U version.

What like they called it Xenoblade for the Wii release in America? Oh wait no, they didn't...they called it Xenoblade Chronicles.

I'll just leave you in your denial and wish you the best in the hope for a HD remake of a game you've already played.

If you look at the NA box art they shrunk the "Chronicles" part down quite a bit and removed it from promotional material. Probably just because they didn't want to re-tool a game they didn't think would sell. However it wound up selling better than Europe or Japan by a large margin.

Also I don't care if its released or not, but I wouldn't mind it.

When I was a kid I tried eating a straw and nearly choked on it, bad memories.

I don't care either way im not going to defend the links they just are what they are.

But the links are hardly credible. They're two stray listings for Xenoblade for the Wii U. They could be X (as mentioned) or they could be mislistings of Xenoblade for the Wii.

It's a really large leap to equate it to Xenoblade Chronicles HD. Considering the game came out two years ago, it's a bit ridiculous. Especially considering the game didn't do too hot outside of Japan and I don't see why they'd spend the time doing both a HD conversion of it AND localizing that as well.

According to vgchartz NA was the best selling region.
