Hi there,
I've tried following all the instructions, and my r4 still shows a black screen...
more like:

upper screen is blue
bottom screen has 3 choices: MicroDS, Slot2 and a folder and a black background

Once I click MicroSD...
upper screen is still blue
bottom screen black background, and 2 folders plus my roms and then the Moonshell at the bottom

I can't seem to get anything besides Moonshell and the roms actually working, besides even if they did work, I can barely see it...

So here is the question: How do "see" what I'm clicking? Also should I delete the _system_ folder?
For the themes do different themes have to be in a different folder like 'black' and 'zelda'?

-Once I press 'start' to change the theme the system freezes...
(PS. I'll be replying back later, since I'll be heading to class now) THANK YOU

Ah, this happened to me. It's a simple fix really.
Basically, if your theme is like this:
"K:\__rpg\ui\Theme\Theme" Then you'll get this.
All you have to do is move all the content from "K:\__rpg\ui\Theme\Theme" into "K:\__rpg\ui\Theme\"
It should work after that. Took my a while to figure that out x)

Can a Mod move this to the R4 section?

That doesn't seem to work with mine...
Is there maybe a video that you could upload or pictures? I'm quite a visual learner...

Also:
1) should I get rid of the _system_ that was originally in my r4? Or is that needed... I'm kind of confused

2) Thanks for the previous answer though!

You don't need _system_ o-o;
Uhm, if it still doesn't work, then post back o-o
Maybe, tell me where your themes are and such

Ok _system_ deleted:
My themes are at...

Removable Disk (I:) --> _rpg --> ui --> theme --> "here"

This is exactly where I placed the contents of the download:
K:\__rpg\ui\HeadphoneGirl
Oh btw, if that still doesn't work then open up "globalsettings.ini" and change "uiName = " into "uiName = HeadphoneGirl" (Or whatever you named the theme folder).

I know I might be annoying by now... but no matter what I do, it seems to not let me apply any themes.
Could it be the fact that whenever I press "start" it freezes up not allowing me to change skins?

Other than the part where I can't see anything... the games and moonshell seems to be working fine.
(Haven't tried cheats yet)

Oh for the theme clock/calendar problem, there a sort of fix for that, don't know if it fixes every theme though, but it has for every one I've tried...

Place these 4 files (clock_colon.bmp, clock_numbers.bmp, day_numbers.bmp, year_numbers.bmp) into a folder named "calendar" within the theme folder...

*its actually a little side note on ndsthemes.com for most of the Acekard themes.

Hope this helps!
