(the dstt firmware puts this over the top; you'd actually need to rebuild the firmware to get rid of it)

Could someone design a nice skin where the background has a area of white that covers the bottom of the screen? would the annoying branding then be invisible?

Still waiting for my ttds from DE so dont know myself.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
