Hacking will deleting the update partition on some games

cause them to freeze? i put a scrubbed version of dead space extraction on usb loader gx and it would freeze during the second level. so I decided to put a untouched Iso of it this time and i'm up to level 4 and it hasnt freezed once

I don't think that there are games which are checking if the update parition is there and block the game if not. Maybe newer games will have this "protection", but not now, Dead Space Extraction is from 2009.

all 133 of my games have it removed including dead space and they all play perfect.
