dont order from consolesource if you want to mod it anytime soon,
i ordered my wiikey on feb 20th, got put on second batch, shipped march 9, shipping department threatened me with 30% restocking fee and it wasnt mailed at the time.

dont have it yet and its march 26 (contacted them and they said it takes up to 20 business days) makes me wonder where they mailed from, since it takes 20 days for slow postage from china.

I ordered from modchipstore.com using the standard shipping and received it the next day. I couldn't be happier

Since I'm in Canada, I ordered from www.gamersection.ca. I placed an order on the 23rd (Friday), and it should be coming in tomorrow on the 27th (Tuesday).

I also got mine from modchipstore.com, and they're delivery is quite fast. I've ordered once before with them (DS-X 4gb) and even though that was a preorder it came in quite quickly as well.

And yes, the WiiKey does not need any software installed when you first get it, you just wire it in and it's good to go.

Weird, okay so I got my Wiikey from an official reseller (Gamersection.ca) ... but when I compare it to the photos of the clones ... it looks closer to a clone, then a genuine one. Oh well. If it's listed in the resellers list, then it has to be genuine. Unless they are scamming me somehow.

*EDIT* Upon closer examination ... it might actually look closer to the genuine one (since it's supposedly genuine). The font for the C and 1 in C1 looks genuine.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
