I just installed The LostWinds: WotM wad and Tales of Monkey Island wad and neither of them play correctly. They install with no problems, but when I go to play they sit there for a second or two and then return to the wii system menu. Any ideas? I had this happen before with Bit.Trip.Beat, but that was awhile back. Sorry if this has been posted before....I tried to search the forum, but no luck. Did you get both of them from the same source? If so, try to download from somewhere else and try again. Also, it might be you have too much stuff on your wii. If it installs at all it shouldn't be a space problem but if you have a lot of cios then some of them may be interfering with each other. If this happens only with these games and no others, than it seems most likely that you got a bad copy of them. If you know anyone with more experience, have them look at your cios with AnyTitleDeleter. I'm sorry, i remember these two as being some great games for wiiware. As was MLAK.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
