Hacking Wii Speak on backup loaders...

Hey everyone, I wasn't sure where I should ask this question so the most logical place was here in the backup loaders forum. I was just wondering if anyone here has used Wii Speak while playing Animal Crossing( only Wii Speak game I know of )on their backup loader. I'm not sure how the device actually works. Do you have to install anything to your wii? I remember hearing about that channel but still not sure how that works or how it would work with games on the backup loaders. Thanks in advance.

For wii speak you have to install an official nintendo ios in order for it to work. I'm not sure of it works on USB loader. I'm pretty sure it does though.

Hmmm...Still not sure if I should get it and install it yet. I've been trying to find some information on it but cant seem to find anything. I'm pretty sure the cIos' have gotten it working by now but I just want to be sure before I do anything. D:

wii speak channel needs a ios for it to run, i think it's ios38 correct me if i'm wrong(i could be so look it up).
usb loaders using rev13b and hermes cios 222 or 223 it will work on animal crossing with wii speak in the top port and the wbfs usb drive in the bottom one, i assume this is also true for other games that will support the wii speak mic in the future.

So if I have the latest cIos' it would work? I really want to try this out with Animal Crossing and The Conduit which comes out next week. Still not sure if it'll work in game and in the channel itself.

If anything, I really hope you're going to buy the real copy of The Conduit. I've read all the developers went through and they worked pretty dang hard for the game. I am definitely buying it and supporting them since they are one of the first 3rd party developers who actually care and give us what many hardcore gamers on the Wii wanted. A true FPS experience in the Wii.

Do yourself, HVS, Sega, and others a favor- promote The Conduit by supporting it.
