I recently bought a pre owned wii (like yesterday) i got it home, set it up, powered it up and was presented with a screen asking me to press the A button in several different languages (no health and safety screen first), no joy! so i tried syncing the remote with the unit, no joy again! i reset the syncs (by holding the sync button on the wii for 15 seconds) and tried to sync again, still no joy, so i tried searching for the bluetooth with the remote (by pressing buttons 1 + 2 together) and tried syncing once again, nope nothing, ive tried powering off, reseting and all kinds of ways to sync the remote but nothin seems to be working...... and for the record there is no number on the bottom of the remote, does this mean its a fake? Although the shop did assure me it had been tried and tested, the shop in question is GAME btw.

i can always take it back to the shop but i was wondering if there was a fix for my problem

Just to make sure, you are pressing the red button behind the battery cover? because A, 1 or 2 are useless if you are not synced.

yes i'm pressing both sync buttons the one on the wii and the one on the remote near the batteries, but 1 and 2 together will search for a bluetooth device whether synced or not...

Thanks for the replies guys, turns out the remote was at fault, it just wouldn't connect, a replacement works just fine and dandy :-)

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma

you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
