Homebrew Wii Motion Plus Wiimote not working with HB Channel applications.

So I got two Wiimotes recently with Motion Plus built in them and they turn off and won't turn back on in any of the homebrew apps via the Homebrew Channel (Nintendont, WiiModLite, etc.). However they are working within the Homebrew Channel itself. I'm not sure what the issue is as my other wiimote works fine.

The other wiimote I used also was Wii motion plus. So I don't think that is it, unless there were multiple models for the Wii Motion Plus Wiimote.

I do remember the new Wiimotes working with the applications only a few minutes earlier, not sure what happened.

The new Wiimotes I got were the reissues with the sync button covers. I guess those don't work? Is there a fix?
